Airwars assessment
At least one person was reported killed and five wounded after alleged US airstrikes on the village of Al-Qabil in the Jadr area of Bani al-Harith, Sanaa, Yemen on 30 March 2025.
Though most sources – including the Ministry of Health spokesperson – stated one person had been killed, Facebook user Alyaa Badel reported plural “martyrs”. The source, along with others, specified that the United States had launched “four airstrikes” on the district. There was no additional information found about the victims.
Images posted by sources @AlkhaleejOnline, Jamal Al Mari, @dhamar_news1, and Alyaa Badel have not been archived within this incident as they have been identified as relating to different events in Yemen or other countries and/or from previous air campaigns.
All sources named the belligerent as the United States.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
Geolocation notes
Reports of the incident mention the village of Al-Qabil (قرية القابل) in the Jadr area (منطقة جدر) in the district of Bani Al-Harith (مديرية بني الحارث), for which the generic coordinates are: 15.449968, 44.133079. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
