On Oct.5, Coalition military forces conducted 44 strikes consisting of 65 engagements against ISIS terrorists in Syria and Iraq.

In Syria, Coalition military forces conducted 34 strikes consisting of 43 engagements against ISIS targets.

•Near Abu Kamal, one strike destroyed an ISIS weapons cache.

•Near Al Hawl, one strike destroyed an ISIS staging area.

•Near Al Shadaddi, one strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit.

•Near Dayr Az Zawr, two strikes engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed two IEDs and a logistics node.

•Near Raqqah, 29 strikes engaged six ISIS tactical units and destroyed 23 fighting positions, two vehicles, a supply route, an IED, damaged a vehicle and suppressed three fighting positions.

In Iraq, Coalition military forces conducted 10 strikes consisting of 22 engagements against ISIS targets.

•Near Al Bashir, one strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed a vehicle and a weapons cache.

•Near Huwijah, eight strikes [1 or more Aus] engaged three ISIS tactical units and destroyed nine VBIEDs, four vehicles, three weapons caches, and an ISIS-held building.

•Near Ramadi, one strike destroyed an ISIS bunker.

Additionally, 30 strikes consisting of 36 engagements were conducted in Iraq and Syria on Oct. 3-4 that closed within the last 24 hours.

•On Oct. 3, near Raqqah, Syria, one strike destroyed an ISIS communication system.

•On Oct. 4, near Huwijah, Iraq, one strike destroyed 11 ISIS vehicles, a tunnel and a VBIED.

•On Oct. 4, near Raqqah, Syria, 28 strikes engaged 11 ISIS tactical units; destroyed 11 fighting positons, three command and control nodes, communication infrastructure, four communication systems and a VBIED; and suppressed two fighting positions.
