On Sept. 22, Coalition military forces conducted 51 strikes consisting of 68 engagements against ISIS terrorists in Syria and Iraq.

In Syria, Coalition military forces conducted 41 strikes consisting of 43 engagements against ISIS targets.

•Near Abu Kamal, one strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed a vehicle.

•Near Dayr Az Zawr, one strike destroyed an ISIS supply route.

•Near Raqqah, 39 strikes [1 British] engaged three ISIS tactical units and destroyed 41 fighting positions, a command and control node, a supply route and suppressed two fighting positions.

In Iraq, Coalition military forces conducted 10 strikes consisting of 25 engagements against ISIS targets.

•Near Al Qaim, three strikes destroyed an ISIS headquarters, an IED facility and a weapons facility.

•Near Huwijah, five strikes [1 British] engaged three ISIS tactical units and destroyed three vehicles, two command and control node, a rocket-propelled grenade system, a medium machine gun, a staging area, an IED factory, a VBIED facility, a tactical vehicle and a weapons cache.

•Near Samarra, one strike destroyed a Coalition equipment that malfunctioned due to a non-combat related engine failure.

•Near Tal Afar, one strike engaged two ISIS snipers and destroyed two tunnel entrances.

Additionally, 31 strikes consisting of 48 engagements were conducted in Syria and Iraq on Sept. 21 that closed within the last 24 hours.

•On Sept. 21, near Dayr Az Zawr, Syria, one strike destroyed an ISIS tactical vehicle.

•On Sept. 21, near Raqqah, Syria, 28 strikes engaged four ISIS tactical units and destroyed 18 fighting positions, eight vehicles, a tactical vehicle, two IEDs, two supply routes, a logistics node, damaged seven fighting positions and suppressed two fighting positions.

•On Sept. 21, near Huwijah, Iraq, two strikes destroyed six ISIS fighting positions, three tunnel entrances, two command and control nodes, a VBIED facility, and a front-end loader.
