Rockets struck the outskirts of Tel Aviv, killing one woman and injuring at least eight others, some seriously, according to police. A woman was killed in a rocket attack on the city of Rishon LeZion, south of Tel Aviv. Israeli authorities said rockets fired from the Gaza Strip hit several cities and towns in the central part of the country.

Police reported rocket fire in the cities of Rishon LeZion and Ramat Gan, outside Tel Aviv, as well as in Sdot and the Arab town of Tayibe.

In the latest attacks from the Gaza Strip, a rocket landed near a bus in Holon, injuring four people, two critically and two moderately.

Medics said one of the injured was a 5-year-old girl.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service reported that a 50-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman, and a 5-year-old girl were injured in the city and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police in Givatayim said that shrapnel from a rocket intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system struck a house, lightly injuring four people.

The Islamic Jihad movement claimed responsibility for the latest round of rocket fire on Tel Aviv and threatened to continue the attacks if Israel targeted residential towers and Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, stated, “Tel Aviv is now the closest place to the Gaza Strip, and the enemy should understand what we are saying very well.”

Sirens wailed in Tel Aviv and its suburbs as armed factions in the Gaza Strip continued to launch waves of rockets at central Israel in the largest attack of its kind to date.

Reports indicated that Ben Gurion Airport temporarily suspended flights due to the ongoing rocket fire. Channel 12 reported that air traffic is being redirected to Cyprus.

وذكرت الشرطة أنه تم الإبلاغ عن سقوط صواريخ في مدينتي ريشون لتسيون ورمات غان خارج تل أبيب، وكذلك في سدوت وبلدة الطيبة العربية.
وفي الهجمات الأخيرة من قطاع غزة، سقط صاروخ بالقرب من حافلة في حولون، مما أدى إلى إصابة أربعة أشخاص، اثنين منهم في حالة خطرة واثنين بجروح متوسطة.
وقال مسعفون إن أحد المصابين طفلة تبلغ من العمر 5 سنوات.
وأعلنت خدمة الإسعاف نجمة داود الحمراء عن اصابة رجلا يبلغ من العمر 50 عاما وامرأة تبلغ من العمر 30 عاما وفتاة تبلغ من العمر 5 سنوات في المدينة وتم نقلهم إلى المستشفى للعلاج.
وقالت الشرطة في جفعتايم إن شظايا صاروخ اعترضه نظام القبة الحديدية للدفاع الصاروخي أصابت منزلا، مما أدى إلى إصابة أربعة أشخاص بجروح طفيفة.
وأعلنت حركة الجهاد الإسلامي مسؤوليتها عن جولة القصف الأخيرة على تل أبيب، وهددت بمتابعة القثصف إذا استهدفت إسرائيل الأبراج السكنية والمدنيين الفلسطينيين في غزة.
وأعلنت سرايا القدس، الجناح العسكري لحركة الجهاد الإسلامي، في بيان “تل أبيب الآن أقرب مكان إلى قطاع غزة وعلى العدو أن يعي ما نقول جيدا”.
وانطلقت صفارات الإنذار في مدينة تل أبيب وضواحيها بينما واصلت الفصائل المسلحة في قطاع غزة إطلاق موجات من الصواريخ على وسط إسرائيل في أكبر هجوم من نوعه على الإطلاق.
وأفادت تقارير بأن مطار بن غوريون قد أوقف مؤقتا حركة الطيران بسبب القصف الصاروخي المستمر.
وأفادت القناة 12 أنه يجري إعادة توجيه الحركة الجوية إلى قبرص.
