اعترفت السفارة الأمريكية في بغداد، مساء السبت،بحادث اطلاق النار على احد منازل المواطنين واسفر عن اصابة امراءة واعتبرته غير مقصود
وقال المتحدث باسم السفارة، "تلقينا تقريراً من السلطات العراقية بشأن إصابة نتيجة لاطلق ناري بالقرب من سفارة الولايات المتحدة في بغداد في مساء 26 يوليو".
وأضاف "كشف تحقيقنا ان هناك إطلاق نار غير مقصود من قبل شخص داخل مجمع السفارة، وكان هذا حادثًا مؤسفًا"، مشدداً بالقول "نحن نأخذ هذا الأمر بكل جدية ونواصل التحقيق".
