استشهدت الحاجة "أم بلال" وابنتها "آية"، وابنها الصحفي زيد وأطفاله "محمد وغيث" وزوجته ساجدة، واستشهد ابنها الصحفي مصعب وأولاده حور وأمير، لتنتهي اللمة الأسرية ويتحول البيت وحديقته الجميلة لكومة ركام، بقيت شاهدة على مجزرة شبعة ارتكبها الاحتلال وأحلام، وسبقهم في قصف آخر شقيقاهما بلال وعمر وزوجة الأخير وابن أخيه حمزة، لتحذف العائلة الحافظة للقرآن الكريم من السجل المدني.
