According to initial reports only, the bus was empty, but a jeep driver and bystanders were injured nearby. Six people were injured at the scene. The most seriously injured person is apparently the jeep driver and a 5-year-old girl with her. All the injured were taken to Wolfson Hospital in the city. It was reported that a total of 18 patients from the incident arrived, of whom 1 was in critical condition in the operating room and 1 was in critical condition in the shock room. MDA paramedic Regina Mizrahi was the first to arrive at the scene: "We saw the bus and several vehicles on fire. A 30-year-old woman was lying motionless, conscious and suffering from a shrapnel wound to her upper body. We began life-saving medical treatment while another alarm was going off at the same time. "We immediately ran with the injured woman who was on the ambulance bed to a safe place under one of the buildings. As soon as the alarm went off and it was possible to go back out onto the street, we put her in the ambulance and evacuated her to the hospital in stable condition." Hillel Hamawi, a United Hatzalah medic, said: "I provided initial medical treatment to the injured for bruises and injuries. They were apparently injured by shrapnel and the impact. After initial aid, they were evacuated to the hospital while conscious."
