Dr. Marwan Sultan, director of the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza, was killed today, Wednesday, as a result of an Israeli airstrike that targeted his home in Gaza City.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza mourned Dr. Sultan in an official statement, describing his targeting as a "new heinous crime" adding to the series of attacks targeting medical and humanitarian personnel since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry explained that Dr. Sultan was killed along with several members of his family as a result of an airstrike that targeted his home near Junction 17, west of Gaza City.

ستشهد الطبيب "مروان السلطان"، مدير المستشفى الإندونيسي شمال قطاع غزة، اليوم الأربعاء، جراء قصف صهيوني استهدف منزله بمدينة غزة.

ونعت وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية في غزة، في بيان رسمي، الطبيب السلطان، معتبرة استهدافه "جريمة بشعة جديدة" تضاف إلى سلسلة الاعتداءات التي تطال الطواقم الطبية والإنسانية منذ بدء العدوان على القطاع.

وأوضحت أن الطبيب السلطان استشهد برفقة عدد من أفراد أسرته جراء قصف استهدف منزله بالقرب من مفترق الـ 17 غربي مدينة غزة.
