An Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle this afternoon on the Jarmak-Khardali road in the Jezzine district, according to the National News Agency.

The strike resulted in two fatalities and one injury, according to an official statement from the Ministry of Health.

According to pro-Hezbollah pages, the two martyrs were engineers from the Jihad al-Binaa Foundation, Ahmad Saad and Mustafa Rizk, from the town of Kfar Remman.

The Engineers Syndicate, in a statement, mourned "with deep sorrow and grief the martyrs Ahmad Saad and Mustafa Rizk, who were killed while performing their professional and national duty in the Khardali area, located between Nabatieh and Marjeyoun, as they were heading to the Khiam area to conduct damage assessments and evaluate the infrastructure."

The statement continued: “Our two colleagues fell as martyrs in the line of duty, at a time when the Engineers Syndicate and the engineering community were celebrating Lebanese Engineers and Architects Day. The holiday has thus become a day of loyalty and sacrifice, embodying the highest ideals of commitment, belonging, and dedication.”

Meanwhile, intensive Israeli reconnaissance flights were observed in the region, including over the towns of Arnoun, Kfar Tebnit, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Harj Ali al-Taher, and the Jarmaq area.

Yesterday, Wednesday, an Israeli drone assassinated Ali al-Qarouni in an attack on his car in Kfar, southern Lebanon.

استهدفت طائرة مسيّرة إسرائيلية بعد ظهر اليوم سيارة مدنية على طريق الجرمق – الخردلي في قضاء جزين، بحسب ما أفادت الوكالة «الوطنية للإعلام».

وأدت الغارة إلى سقوط شهيدين وجريح بحسب بيان رسمي لوزارة الصحة.

ووفق صفحات موالية لحزب الله، فإن الشهيدين هما المهندسان في مؤسسة جهاد البناء من بلدة كفررمان أحمد سعد ومصطفى رزق.

بدورها، نعت نقابة المهندسين في بيان «ببالغ الأسى والحزن الشهيدين احمد سعد ومصطفى رزق، اللذين ارتقيا اثناء ادائهما الواجب المهني والوطني في منطقة الخردلي الواقعة بين منطقة النبطية ومرجعيون، حيث كانا يتوجهان الى منطقة الخيام للقيام بعمليات مسح للأضرار وتقييم للبنية التحتية».

وتابع البيان: «لقد سقط الزميلان شهيدين للواجب، في الوقت الذي فيه النقابة والعائلة الهندسية تحتفل بـ”عيد المهندس والمعمار اللبناني”، فصار العيد يوما للوفاء والتضحية، تجسدت فيه اعلى معاني الالتزام والانتماء والعطاء».

بالتوازي، سُجل تحليق مكثف للطيران التجسسي الإسرائيلي في أجواء المنطقة، شمل بلدات ارنون، كفرتبنيت، النبطية الفوقا، حرج علي الطاهر، ومنطقة الجرمق.

وأمس الأربعاء، اغتالت مسيّرة إسرائيلية علي القرعوني في غارة على سيارته في كفرا جنوب لبنان.
