Kamal Marish, a 12-year-old child coffee seller, used to sell hot coffee made by his father in a popular market to passersby, to help his family provide some food and water. Israel killed him in a horrific massacre in front of the famous “Thai” restaurant in the center of Gaza City. Eid, Kamal’s older brother, were together in the same place. Kamal asked him to go near the Al-Shifa Medical Complex to sell coffee there, and he would continue selling coffee at the Palmyra intersection. Moments after he left, the occupation’s aircraft fired a missile in the area where his brother was. He ran quickly and found him lying on the ground, a martyr. Kamal was martyred in an Israeli massacre that targeted a restaurant in the popular market and near the Thai restaurant, resulting in 17 martyrs, most of them children, and 50 wounded with varying injuries. Kamal and Eid supported their family of eight, and after his martyrdom, they became seven. His laughter disappeared from the house, especially from his father, who was proud of him. His father, Salman Marish, recounted, crying bitterly to “Network “Kamal was born with a thousand men and he is the breadwinner of the family. I used to prepare Eid coffee and paper cups for him and his brother, to provide for our daily sustenance at least.” He points out that since the war on Gaza returned, Kamal has been selling coffee in the popular market near the tent we live in. He and the generation of people his age did not live their childhood like other children in the world. Kamal’s father adds: “I would walk with him on the road and everyone would call out to him, welcoming him and asking him about the coffee, and he would answer them that he would prepare it to sell in the market. He was beloved by everyone.” Kamal and Eid would go out from six in the morning until the evening to sell coffee together, and he would return to his father laughing to give him what he earned during his work, and then he would run to play and have fun with his friends in the area. He dreamed of becoming an engineer to rebuild Gaza after the Israeli occupation destroyed the Gaza Strip. The occupation assassinated his dream and deprived his family of it, leaving behind great sadness and a family that waited for him to buy food and eat together. “He has been my support since the beginning of the war. I have not found support in my life like Kamal. He was my brother.” But at the time, Kamal was beloved, and his tasks and dreams were greater than his years. He is the only successful thing in my life.” He continues: “The day Kamal was martyred, in the afternoon, I was waiting for him. Eid came and I asked him about him, and he answered. We separated, each in his own place. We heard the sound of a missile. My heart started to contract. I couldn’t go. I was afraid. My nephew told me that he was martyred. The missile took the most precious and dear thing in my life.” Kamal dreams daily for the war to end so he can complete his studies and become an engineer, but the occupation does not differentiate between children, young people, and the elderly. It kills them and kills their dreams, leaving behind their families to continue their lives that were interrupted. سماح شاهين- مصدر الإخباريةاعتاد بائع القهوة الطفل كمال مريش (12 عامًا)، بيع القهوة الساخنة التي صنعها له والده لبيعها في سوق شعبي للمارة، لمساعدة عائلته في توفير بعض الطعام والمياه، قتلته إسرائيل في مجزرة بشعة أمام المطعم الشهير “التايلندي” وسط مدينة غزة.عيد شقيق كمال الأكبر، كانا معًا في نفس المكان طلب منه كمال التوجه بالقرب من مجمع الشفاء الطبي ليبيع القهوة هناك وهو سيكمل بيع القهوة عند مفترق بالميرا، بعد لحظات من ذهابه أطلقت طائرات الاحتلال صاروخًا في المنطقة الذي يتواجد بها شقيقه ركض مسرعًا عثر عليه ملقى على الأرض شهيدًا.استشهد كمال في مجزرة إسرائيلية استهدفت مطعمًا السوق الشعبي وبالقرب من مطعم التايلندي، أسفرت عن 17 شهيدًا، معظمهم من الأطفال، و50 مصابًا بجراح متفاوتة.كمال وعيد كانا يُعيلان عائلتهما المكونة من ثمانية أفراد، وبعد استشهاده باتوا سبعة، غابت ضحكاته عن البيت خاصة عن والده الذي يفتخر به.يروي والده سلمان مريش وهو يبكي بحرقة لـ”شبكة مصدر الإخبارية”: “كمال ولد بألف زلمة وهو معيل الأسرة كنت أجهز له ولشقيقه عيد القهوة والكاسات الكرتونية، لتوفير قوت يومنا على الأقل”.ويشير إلى أنّ منذ عودة الحرب على غزة يبيع كمال القهوة في السوق الشعبي قريبًا من الخيمة التي نعيشها فيها، فهو لم يعش طفولته والجيل الذين في عمره أيضًا كباقي أطفال العالم.ويضيف والد كمال: “بكون بمشي معه في الطريق الجميع ينادي عليه مرحبين به يسألونه عن القهوة ويجيبهم بأن سوف يجهزها لبيعها في السوق، كان محبوبًا بين الكل”.يخرج كمال وعيد من الساعة السادسة صباحًا حتى المساء يبيعان القهوة معًا، ويعود لوالده ضاحكًا ليمنحه ما كسب خلال عمله، ومن ثم يركض ليلعب ويمرح مع أصدقائه في المنطقة.كان يحلُم بأن يصبح مهندسًا ليعيد إعمار غزة من جديد بعد تدمير الاحتلال الإسرائيلي قطاع غزة، فاغتال الاحتلال حلمه وحرم عائلته منه، تاركًا خلفه حزن كبير وعائلة كانت تنتظره لشراء الطعام ويأكلون معًا.“هو سندي منذ بداية الحرب لم أجد سندًا في حياتي كمثل كمال، كان شقي ولكن في ناس الوقت محبوب فكانت مهامه وأحلامه أكبر من سنه، هو الحاجة الوحيدة الناجحة في حياتي”.ويردف: “يوم استشهاد كمال بعد الظهر كنت استناه جاء عيد وسألته عنه فأجابني افترقنا كل واحد في مكان سمعنا صوت صاروخ قلبي بدأت ينقبض ما قدرت أروح خفت أبلغني ابن شقيقي باستشهاده، الصاروخ أخد أعز وأغلى حاجة في حياتي”.يحلم كمال يوميًا بأن تنتهي الحرب لاستكمال دراسته ويصبح مهندسًا، لكن الاحتلال لا يُفرق بين طفلٍ وشاب ومسن، يقتلهم ويقتل أحلامهم تاركين خلفهم عائلاتهم تستكمل حياتهم التي توقفت.ويناشد والده العالم بوقف الحرب على غزة التي أبادت البشر والشجر والحجر، قائلَة: “العالم كله يرانا نموت من القصف والجوع والنزوح ولا يحرك ساكنًا بكل أسف”.اقرأ/ي أيضًا: يحيى صبيح.. رحل قبل أن يسمي طفلته
