Gaza – Palestinian Information Center An elderly woman was killed and a number of citizens were injured on Wednesday when the occupation forces opened fire on citizens who had gathered in the hope of receiving aid in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. Local sources said that the elderly woman, Kifah Odeh Suleiman al-Sawarka, was shot by occupation soldiers this morning near the aid center in the Mirage area, south of Khan Younis. Our correspondent reported that dozens of citizens arrived at Al-Alam Street, which witnessed the distribution of aid yesterday, and were exposed to gunfire from the Israeli occupation forces. He added that the occupation’s quadcopters opened fire on the citizens and asked them to move away from the area, amid assurances that aid distribution would be cancelled for that day. Yesterday, the occupation forces committed a massacre against starving civilians inside the so-called “aid distribution centers” in Rafah, which led to the martyrdom of 3 civilians, the injury of 46, and the loss of 7 others. The Government Media Office said: This massacre was carried out by the occupation forces during the citizens’ gathering inside the so-called “aid distribution centers” run by the “Israeli” occupation within what is known as the “buffer zones,” where the “Israeli” occupation forces present in or around those areas fired live bullets at the hungry civilians whom they had invited to come to receive aid, and who were driven to those sites by the urgent need for food. We express our fear that the occupation will repeat this crime again and that more martyrs, wounded and missing will occur. The office stressed that what happened in Rafah is a true massacre and a fully fledged war crime committed in cold blood against civilians exhausted by the siege and continuous starvation for more than 90 days since the closure of the crossings and about 20 months of genocide and the complete cut-off of food and medicine to the Strip, as part of a clear plan for genocide and forced displacement, which was approved by the Prime Minister of the occupation, “Benjamin Netanyahu,” and a number of his ministers. He emphasized the abject failure of the occupation's project to distribute aid through the so-called "buffer zones," as demonstrated by field reports, testimonies from the Hebrew media itself, and dozens of international experts. These scenes followed painfully tragic scenes of the collapse of these centers in the face of the thousands of starving people who stormed the sites under the pressure of deadly hunger, before the occupation forces intervened with gunfire, resulting in this brutal massacre. He said: "What is happening is conclusive evidence of the occupation's failure to manage the humanitarian situation, which it deliberately caused through a systematic policy of siege, starvation, bombing, and destruction. This constitutes a continuation of a full-fledged crime of genocide under international law, especially Article II of the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide." He emphasized that the establishment of "buffer ghettos" and forced assembly lines amid the threat of death and starvation does not express a genuine humanitarian intention, but rather embodies a racist political engineering aimed at dismantling Palestinian society, perpetuating its suffering, and providing a false humanitarian cover for the occupation's security and military agendas.

استشهدت مسنة وأصيب عدد من المواطنين – اليوم الأربعاء- جراء إطلاق قوات الاحتلال النار تجاه مواطنين تجمعوا على أمل الحصول على مساعدات في رفح جنوب قطاع غزة.

وقالت مصادر محلية إن المسنة كفاح عودة سليمان السواركة جراء إطلاق النار عليها من جنود الاحتلال صباح اليوم قرب مركز المساعدات بمنطقة ميراج جنوب خانيونس.

وأفاد مراسلنا أن عشرات المواطنين وصلوا إلى منطقة شارع العلم التي شهدت أمس توزع مساعدات، فتعرضوا لإطلاق نار من قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.

وأضاف أن طائرات كواد كابتر للاحتلال أطلقت النار تجاه المواطنين وطلبت منهم الابتعاد عن المنطقة وسط تأكيدات بإلغاء توزيع المساعدات في هذا اليوم.

وارتكبت قوات الاحتلال أمس مجزرة بحق الجوعى المدنيين داخل ما يُسمى “مراكز توزيع المساعدات” برفح ما أدى إلى استشهاد 3 مدنيين وإصابة 46 وفقدان 7 آخرين.

وقال المكتب الإعلامي الحكومي: إن هذه المجزرة نفذها الاحتلال ضج المواطنين خلال تجمّعهم داخل ما يُسمى “مراكز توزيع المساعدات” التي يديرها الاحتلال “الإسرائيلي” ضمن ما يُعرف بـ”المناطق العازلة”، حيث أطلقت قوات الاحتلال “الإسرائيلي” المتواجدة في أو بمحيط تلك المناطق الرصاص الحي تجاه المدنيين الجوعى الذين دعتهم للحضور لاستلام مساعدات وهم الذين دفعتهم الحاجة الماسة إلى الغذاء للذهاب إلى تلك المواقع، ونعرب عن خشيتنا من تكرار الاحتلال لهذه الجريمة مجدداً ووقوع المزيد من الشهداء والمصابين والمفقودين.

وشدد المكتب على أنّ ما جرى في رفح هو مجزرة حقيقية وجريمة حرب متكاملة الأركان ارتُكبت بدم بارد ضد مدنيين أنهكهم الحصار والتجويع المتواصل منذ أكثر من 90 يوماً على إغلاق المعابر وحوالي 20 شهراً على الإبادة الجماعية وعلى الانقطاع الكامل للغذاء والدواء عن القطاع، وذلك ضمن مخطط واضح للإبادة الجماعية والتهجير القسري، الذي أقر به رئيس حكومة الاحتلال “بنيامين نتنياهو” وعدد من وزرائه.

وأكد فشل مشروع الاحتلال لتوزيع المساعدات عبر ما يُسمى “المناطق العازلة” فشلاً ذريعاً، وهو ما أظهرته التقارير الميدانية وشهادات الإعلام العبري ذاته وعشرات الخبراء الدوليين، بعد مشاهد مأساوية مؤلمة لانهيار تلك المراكز أمام زحف آلاف الجائعين واقتحامهم للمواقع تحت ضغط الجوع القاتل، قبل أن تتدخل قوات الاحتلال بإطلاق النار، لتكون النتيجة هذه المجزرة الوحشية.

وقال: إنّ ما يجري هو دليل قاطع على فشل الاحتلال في إدارة الوضع الإنساني الذي تسبب به عمداً، من خلال سياسة ممنهجة من الحصار والتجويع والقصف والتدمير، وهو ما يُشكّل استمراراً لجريمة إبادة جماعية مكتملة الأركان بموجب القانون الدولي، لاسيما المادة الثانية من اتفاقية منع جريمة الإبادة الجماعية لعام 1948.

وشدد على أنّ إقامة “غيتوهات عازلة” وخطوط تجميع قسرية وسط خطر الموت والجوع، لا يُعبر عن نية إنسانية حقيقية، بل يُجسد هندسة سياسية عنصرية تهدف إلى تفكيك المجتمع الفلسطيني، وإدامة معاناته، وتوفير غطاء إنساني كاذب لأجندات الاحتلال الأمنية والعسكرية.
