Earlier, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone carried out an airstrike, targeting an employee of the Nabatieh al-Fawqa municipality while he was performing his work in the Ali al-Taher area.

The agency explained that while the employee, Mahmoud Atwi, was heading to the well in the Ali al-Taher forest to supply water to homes, he was targeted on his motorcycle by a missile fired from an enemy drone, resulting in his martyrdom.

وفي وقت سابق، أفادت وكالة الأنباء اللبنانية بأن مسيرة إسرائيلية نفذت عدوانا جويا، حيث استهدفت موظفا في بلدية النبطية الفوقا بغارة أثناء قيامه بعمله في منطقة علي الطاهر.

وأوضحت أنه أثناء توجه الموظف محمود عطوي إلى البئر الموجودة في حرش علي الطاهر، لتحويل المياه إلى المنازل، تم استهدافه على دراجته النارية بصاروخ من مسيرة معادية، ما أدى الى استشهاده.
