Quds Network Journalist Maysara Salah Martyred

Gaza - Quds News Network: Maysara Salah, a journalist working in the editing and design department at Quds Network, succumbed to his wounds after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces in the northern Gaza Strip.

Maysara was injured a few days ago while at Al-Harthani School, sustaining serious head and abdominal injuries. He was subsequently transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital.

While he was in dire need of urgent surgery, the occupation forces obstructed his transfer to the Baptist Hospital through the checkpoint separating the northern Gaza Strip and Gaza City for eight hours. This led to the deterioration of his health and his death in the ambulance before he could reach Al-Shifa Hospital.

Quds News Network mourned its colleague, journalist Maysara Salah, who succumbed to his wounds after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces in the northern Gaza Strip while covering the ongoing Israeli aggression.

The network explained that the martyr, Maysara, who worked in the editing and design department, was injured near Awni al-Harthani School, which was subjected to heavy shelling targeting hundreds of displaced people trapped in dire humanitarian conditions. Despite medical efforts at Kamal Adwan Hospital to save his life, the occupation forces obstructed his transfer to the Baptist or Shifa Hospitals for treatment, leading to his death after being detained in an ambulance for eight hours.

In its statement, the Quds Network affirmed that the Israeli occupation bears full responsibility for the martyrdom of Maysara Salah, who was killed twice: once by Israeli gunfire and the second time by being denied medical treatment.

The network concluded its statement by calling on human rights and international organizations to take urgent action to stop the crimes committed against Palestinian journalists, demanding international protection for them in accordance with international laws and conventions.

In a statement of condolence, the Palestinian Journalists Forum expressed its strong condemnation of the occupation's targeting of journalists, emphasizing that the martyr Maysara Salah joined the ranks of Palestinian media martyrs who died while conveying the truth.

The Forum noted that the number of journalists martyred since October 7, 2023, has reached 192, amid a disturbing international silence regarding these ongoing violations.

The Forum emphasized the need for the international community to take action to protect Palestinian journalists and ensure their right to perform their professional duties without restrictions or threats, reiterating its pledge to continue working on the path to freedom and conveying the suffering of the Palestinian people to the world.

استشهاد الصحفي بشبكة قدس ميسرة صلاح

غزة - قدس الإخبارية: استشهد الزميل الصحفي في قسم المونتاج والتصميم بشبكة قدس، ميسرة صلاح، متأثراً بجراحه جراء إصابته برصاص الاحتلال شمال قطاع غزة.

وأصيب الشهيد ميسرة قبل أيام أثناء وجوده في مدرسة الحرثاني، حيث تعرض لإصابات خطيرة في الرأس والبطن، نُقل على إثرها إلى مستشفى كمال عدوان. 

وفي ظل حاجته الماسة لإجراء عمليات جراحية عاجلة، عرقلت قوات الاحتلال نقله إلى مستشفى المعمداني عبر الحاجز الفاصل بين شمال القطاع ومدينة غزة لمدة ثماني ساعات، مما أدى إلى تدهور حالته الصحية واستشهاده داخل سيارة الإسعاف قبل أن يصل إلى مستشفى الشفاء.

ونعت شبكة قدس الإخبارية زميلها الصحفي ميسرة صلاح، الذي ارتقى شهيداً متأثراً بإصابته برصاص الاحتلال الإسرائيلي شمال قطاع غزة، أثناء تغطيته لأحداث العدوان الإسرائيلي المستمر.

وأوضحت الشبكة أن الشهيد ميسرة، وهو من قسم المونتاج والتصميم، أُصيب قرب مدرسة عوني الحرثاني، التي تعرضت لقصف عنيف استهدف مئات النازحين المحاصرين في ظروف إنسانية صعبة. ورغم الجهود الطبية في مستشفى كمال عدوان لإنقاذ حياته، عرقلت قوات الاحتلال نقله لتلقي العلاج اللازم في مستشفى المعمداني أو الشفاء، مما أدى إلى استشهاده بعد احتجازه في سيارة الإسعاف لثماني ساعات.


وأكدت شبكة قدس في بيانها أن الاحتلال الإسرائيلي يتحمل المسؤولية الكاملة عن استشهاد ميسرة صلاح، الذي قُتل مرتين؛ الأولى برصاص الاحتلال والثانية بحرمانه من حقه في العلاج.

واختتمت الشبكة بيانها بدعوة المؤسسات الحقوقية والدولية إلى التحرك العاجل لوقف الجرائم المرتكبة بحق الصحفيين الفلسطينيين، مطالبة بتوفير الحماية الدولية لهم وفق القوانين والمواثيق الإنسانية.

وفي بيان نعي، عبّر منتدى الإعلاميين الفلسطينيين عن إدانته الشديدة لاستهداف الاحتلال للصحفيين، مؤكداً أن الشهيد ميسرة صلاح انضم إلى قافلة شهداء الإعلام الفلسطيني الذين قضوا وهم ينقلون الحقيقة.

 وأشار المنتدى إلى أن عدد الصحفيين الذين استشهدوا منذ السابع من أكتوبر 2023 بلغ 192 شهيداً، في ظل صمت دولي مريب تجاه هذه الانتهاكات المتواصلة.

وأكد المنتدى على ضرورة تحرك المجتمع الدولي لحماية الصحفيين الفلسطينيين وضمان حقهم في أداء واجبهم المهني دون قيود أو تهديدات، مجدداً العهد بمواصلة العمل على درب الحرية ونقل معاناة الشعب الفلسطيني إلى العالم.
