The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) affirmed that the Turkish airstrikes on the al-Ruwaished desert in the al-Shaddadi region, south of al-Hasakah, constitute a blatant violation of international law and reflect the expansionist and brutal mentality of the Turkish occupation state.

In a statement issued Wednesday evening, the AANES indicated that these attacks are part of Turkey's attempts to revive ISIS cells, posing a serious threat not only to the security of the region but to the entire world.

The AANES condemned these cowardly attacks targeting innocent civilians and held the international community fully responsible for these violations. It called on human rights and humanitarian organizations to take immediate action to stop these attacks and put an end to the hostile practices targeting Syrian territory.

The AANES emphasized in its statement that "these attacks are merely part of Turkey's policy aimed at destabilizing the region and reviving terrorist organizations," stressing the need for a clear international stance to halt these attacks.

The AANES concluded its statement by reiterating its call for the international community to take immediate action, emphasizing that the continuation of these attacks poses a threat to global peace. She also mourned the martyrs who fell in the attacks, saying, “Mercy and eternity to our righteous martyrs.”

It is worth noting that, in a new escalation of Turkish aggression against areas of northern and eastern Syria, warplanes and drones belonging to the Turkish occupation state targeted several areas in the al-Ruwaished desert in the al-Shaddadi region, south of al-Hasakah, on Wednesday, resulting in the martyrdom of 12 civilians from the area.

وأشارت الإدارة في بيان، مساء اليوم الأربعاء، إلى أن هذه الهجمات تأتي في إطار محاولات تركيا إنعاش خلايا “تنظيم داعش الإرهابي”، مما يشكل تهديداً خطيراً ليس فقط لأمن المنطقة، بل للعالم بأسره.
وأدانت الإدارة الذاتية الديمقراطية هذه “الاعتداءات الجبانة”، التي تستهدف المدنيين الأبرياء، وحمّلت المجتمع الدولي المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذه الانتهاكات. ودعت المنظمات الحقوقية والإنسانية إلى التحرك العاجل لوقف هذه الهجمات ووضع حد للممارسات العدائية التي تستهدف الأراضي السورية.
وأكدت الإدارة الذاتية في بيانها أن “هذه الهجمات ليست سوى جزء من سياسة تركيا الرامية إلى زعزعة الاستقرار في المنطقة، وإعادة إحياء التنظيمات الإرهابية”، مشددة على ضرورة اتخاذ موقف دولي واضح لوقف هذه الاعتداءات.
وختمت الإدارة الذاتية بيانها بتجديد دعوتها للمجتمع الدولي للتحرك الفوري، مؤكدة أن استمرار هذه الهجمات يشكل خطراً على السلام العالمي. كما نعت الشهداء الذين سقطوا في الهجمات، قائلة: “الرحمة والخلود لشهدائنا الأبرار”.
الجدير بالذكر، وفي تصعيد جديد للعدوان التركي على مناطق شمال وشرق سوريا، استهدفت الطائرات الحربية والمسيّرة التابعة لدولة الاحتلال التركي، اليوم الأربعاء، عدة مناطق في بادية الرويشد بمنطقة الشدادي جنوب الحسكة، ما أسفر عن استشهاد 12 مدنياً من أهالي المنطقة.
