The Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, announced the martyrdom of senior commander Ahmed Kamel Sarhan, head of the "Special Action" unit, during a heroic armed clash with an Israeli special force that attempted to storm his home and arrest him at dawn today in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. The Brigades confirmed in an official statement that martyr Sarhan bravely and steadfastly confronted the invading force, and engaged in direct combat with them until the moment of his martyrdom. They stressed that the operation carried out by the Israeli special forces failed to achieve its objectives. The Brigades mourned the martyred commander Sarhan, describing his martyrdom as "a new chapter in the ongoing resistance," affirming their continued confrontation with the occupation by all possible means. This morning, Monday, an Israeli special force ("Musta'ribun") carried out an assassination operation targeting the leader of the Al-Nasser Brigades, Ahmed Sarhan, in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, and arrested his wife and children, in a new horrific crime recorded by the occupation during its ongoing war of genocide on the Gaza Strip.

أعلنت "ألوية الناصر صلاح الدين"، الجناح العسكري للجان المقاومة الشعبية، عن استشهاد القائد الكبير أحمد كامل سرحان، مسؤول "العمل الخاص" في صفوفها، خلال اشتباك مسلح بطولي مع قوة إسرائيلية خاصة حاولت اقتحام منزله واعتقاله فجر اليوم في مدينة خان يونس جنوب قطاع غزة.

وأكدت الألوية في بيان رسمي أن الشهيد سرحان واجه القوة المقتحمة ببسالة وصمود، وخاض اشتباكًا مباشرًا معها حتى لحظة استشهاده، مشددة على أن العملية التي نفذتها القوات الإسرائيلية الخاصة قد فشلت في تحقيق أهدافها.

ونعت الألوية الشهيد القائد سرحان، ووصفت استشهاده بأنه "فصل جديد من فصول المقاومة المتواصلة"، مؤكدة استمرارها في مواجهة الاحتلال بكل الوسائل الممكنة.

ونفذت قوة خاصة إسرائيلية "مستعربون"، صباح اليوم الإثنين، عملية اغتيال طالت القيادي بألوية الناصر أحمد سرحان في خانيونس جنوبي القطاع، واعتقلت زوجته وأطفاله، في جريمةٍ مروعة جديدة يسجِّلها الاحتلال خلال حرب الإبادة الجماعيَّة المتواصلة على قطاع غزّة.
