Dr. Ali Bakuei Ketrimi, a nuclear scientist and faculty member at Tarbiat Modares University, was killed in an airstrike in Tehran. The attack has been described as an attempt to undermine Iran’s scientific and technical infrastructure.

Biography and Education
Ali Bakuei Ketrimi was born in the early 50s (most likely in 1354) in the city of Qom. Originally from the village of Ketrim in the Dodangeh district of Sari, he was married and had two children. His educational background is as follows:

Received a diploma in mathematics and physics in 1984.
Received a bachelor’s degree in applied physics with a nuclear focus from Amirkabir University of Technology in 1991.
Received a master’s degree in nuclear physics from the University of Tehran in 1994.
Received a doctorate in nuclear physics and elementary particles from Moscow State University in 1994.

Martyrdom
According to reports, Dr. Ali Bakuei-Ketrimi, along with his wife and two children, were martyred in an airstrike by the Zionist regime on their home in Tehran.
Condolence message from the Governor of Sari
Dr. Mohammad Ali Nobakht, the Governor of Sari County, expressed his condolences for the martyrdom of “Ali (Mansour) Bakuei-Ketrimi” and his family in a message. The message stated that the news of his martyrdom in the attacks by the Zionist regime has affected the people of Sari County and the Iranian nation.
He considered this action a sign of the enemy’s helplessness in the face of scientific progress and the resistance of the Iranian nation, and emphasized that this scientist’s path in the field of nuclear science and technology will continue. The Governor of Sari, while offering condolences to the Supreme Leader, the Iranian nation, the scientific community, and Bakuei-Ketrimi’s family, prayed for the martyrs to rise to the highest ranks and for patience for the survivors.

Dr. Nobakht, the governor of the provincial capital, accompanied by Kazemnejad, the deputy governor of Sari city, and Alipour, the deputy governor of Dodangeh, visited the shrine of the great martyr Ali (Mansour) Bakui, the nuclear scientist, and met with him, while expressing condolences and remembering the great martyrs of the recent attack by the infamous Zionist regime, referring to the character, insight, and steadfastness of the martyrs in realizing the ideals of the system and the Islamic Revolution.

دکتر علی باکویی کتریمی، دانشمند هسته‌ای و عضو هیئت علمی دانشگاه تربیت مدرس، در جریان یک حمله هوایی در تهران به شهادت رسید. این حمله به عنوان اقدامی با هدف تضعیف زیرساخت‌های علمی و تخصصی ایران توصیف شده است.

زندگی‌نامه و تحصیلات
علی باکویی کتریمی، متولد اوایل دهه پنجاه (به احتمال زیاد  ۱۳۵۴) در شهر قم بود. او که اصالتاً اهل روستای کتریم بخش دودانگه ساری معرفی شده، متاهل و دارای دو فرزند بود. مسیر تحصیلی وی به شرح زیر است:


اخذ دیپلم ریاضی‌فیزیک در سال ۱۳۶۳.
دریافت مدرک لیسانس در رشته فیزیک کاربردی با گرایش هسته‌ای از دانشگاه صنعتی امیرکبیر در سال ۱۳۷۰.
اخذ مدرک فوق‌لیسانس فیزیک هسته‌ای از دانشگاه تهران در سال ۱۳۷۳.
دریافت مدرک دکترای فیزیک هسته‌ای و ذرات بنیادی از دانشگاه دولتی مسکو در سال ۱۳۸۳.

شهادت
بر اساس گزارش‌ها، دکتر علی باکویی کتریمی به همراه همسر و دو فرزندش در حمله هوایی رژیم صهیونیستی به منزل مسکونی‌شان در تهران به شهادت رسیدند.
پیام تسلیت فرماندار ساری
دکتر محمدعلی نوبخت، فرماندار شهرستان ساری، در پیامی شهادت «علی (منصور) باکویی کتریمی» و خانواده وی را تسلیت گفت. در این پیام آمده است که خبر شهادت ایشان در حملات رژیم صهیونیستی موجب تأثر مردم شهرستان ساری و ملت ایران شده است.
وی این اقدام را نشانه‌ای از عجز دشمن در برابر پیشرفت علمی و مقاومت ملت ایران دانست و تأکید کرد که راه این دانشمند در عرصه علم و فناوری هسته‌ای ادامه خواهد یافت. فرماندار ساری ضمن عرض تسلیت به رهبر معظم رهبری، ملت ایران، جامعه علمی و خانواده باکویی کتریمی، برای شهدا علو درجات و برای بازماندگان صبر مسئلت کرد.
