The Government Media Office in Gaza announced on Wednesday that two Palestinian journalists were killed during the Israeli army's raid on Al-Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City. This brings the number of "martyred journalists" to 140 since October 7, 2023.

أعلن المكتب الإعلامي الحكومي في غزة، الأربعاء، مقتل صحفيين فلسطينيين اثنين خلال اقتحام الجيش الإسرائيلي مستشفى الشفاء غربي مدينة غزة، ما يرفع عدد "الصحفيين الشهداء" إلى 140 منذ 7 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول 2023.

وأفاد المكتب، في بيان، بـ"استشهاد" كل من محمد السيد أبو سخيل وهو مذيع ومحرر في إذاعة "صوت القدس"، وطارق السيد أبو سخيل وهو محرر رقمي في إذاعة نفسها، وذلك "خلال جريمة اقتحام مجمع مستشفى الشفاء الطبي".
