The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday evening that an emergency physician was injured at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip.

The ministry explained on Telegram that an Israeli drone fired at the doctors' room in the surgery department on the third floor of Nasser Medical Complex, moderately wounding one of the emergency physicians.

Earlier on Wednesday, Hamas warned of the "catastrophic" humanitarian situation facing displaced persons, medical staff, and the wounded at Nasser Hospital due to the Israeli army's siege.

أعلنت وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية بقطاع غزة، مساء الأربعاء، إصابة طبيب طوارئ في "مجمع ناصر الطبي" بمدينة خانيونس، جنوبي قطاع غزة.

وأوضحت الوزارة، على منصة تلغرام، أن مُسيرة إسرائيلية أطلقت النار تجاه غرفة الأطباء بقسم الجراحة في الطابق الثالث بمجمع ناصر الطبي، وأصابت أحد أطباء الطوارئ بـ"جراح متوسطة".

وفي وقت سابق الأربعاء، حذرت حركة حماس، من الوضع الإنساني "الكارثي" الذي يتعرّض له النازحون والأطقم الطبية والجرحى في مستشفى ناصر، جراء حصار الجيش الإسرائيلي له.
