A fighter from the Turkish-backed "National Army" in Manbij, Syria (AFP) Turkish shelling of Kurdish-controlled areas in northeastern Syria continues, coinciding with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's insistence on disarming or eliminating the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG). The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced in a statement that it had neutralized 17 militants from the Kurdistan Workers' Party/YPG in northern Syria, stressing that "the Turkish army's operations against terrorism continue without interruption in all weather conditions and terrain." Meanwhile, the Kurdish Autonomous Administration in northeastern Syria announced that four people were killed and 15 others were injured in a Turkish attack on "a civilian gathering of residents at the Tishrin Dam" in the Manbij countryside in Aleppo province, where clashes are ongoing between the SDF and pro-Turkish Syrian factions. The Syrian Observatory confirmed the deaths of three civilians in "an airstrike by a Turkish drone on a civilian gathering at the Tishrin Dam in the Manbij countryside, east of Aleppo." Erdogan: "The 100-Year Conspiracy Is Over" Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan renewed his threat that "Turkey will not tolerate any complacency toward the terrorist organization (People's Protection Units) that occupies a third of Syria's territory." Speaking from the southern province of Mersin, Erdogan declared that "the 100-year conspiracy in the region is disintegrating... The era of those who used to rule the region is over," stressing his "determination to prevent the implementation of new scenarios in Syria, either by disarming terrorist organizations or eliminating them."

مقاتل في «الجيش الوطني» المدعوم من تركيا في منبج السورية (أ ف ب)يتواصل القصف التركي على المناطق التي يسيطر عليها الأكراد في الشمال الشرقي لسوريا، بالتزامن مع تأكيد الرئيس التركي رجب طيب إردوغان إصراره على نزع سلاح «وحدات حماية الشعب» الكردية أو القضاء عليها. وأعلنت وزارة الدفاع التركية، في بيان، تحييدها 17 مسلحاً لـ«حزب العمال الكردستاني/ وحدات حماية الشعب» في شمال سوريا، مؤكدةً «استمرار عمليات الجيش التركي ضدّ الإرهاب دون انقطاع في جميع الظروف الجوية والتضاريس». وفي المقابل، أعلنت «الإدارة الذاتية الكردية» في الشمال الشرقي لسوريا مقتل 4 وإصابة 15 آخرين في استهداف تركي لـ«تجمع مدني من الأهالي في سد تشرين» في ريف منبج في محافظة حلب، حيث تدور اشتباكات بين «قسد» وفصائل سورية موالية لتركيا. وأكد «المرصد السوري» مقتل 3 مدنيين في «ضربة جوية من مُسيّرة تركية على تجمع مدنيين عند سد تشرين في ريف منبج شرقي حلب». إردوغان: «مؤامرة المئة عام انتهت» في هذا الوقت، جدد الرئيس التركي رجب طيب إردوغان التهديد بأن «تركيا لن تتهاون على الإطلاق تجاه تنظيم (وحدات حماية الشعب) الإرهابي الذي يحتل ثلث مساحة سوريا». ومن ولاية مرسين الجنوبية، اعتبر إردوغان أن «مؤامرة المئة عام في المنطقة تتفكك (...) عصر من كان يصول ويجول في المنطقة قد انتهى»، مؤكداً «تصميمه على منع تنفيذ سيناريوهات جديدة في سوريا، إمّا من خلال نزع سلاح التنظيمات الإرهابية أو القضاء عليها».
