A crime so loud and blatant that no one can bear it; or perhaps only the Palestinians, who have repeatedly been subjected to this type of tragedy over the past seven decades since the Nakba, as Israeli missiles have turned thousands of tender bodies into limbs or charred corpses. The deaths of the Najjar family's children weighed as much as a feather, filling the life of the Palestinian pediatrician, who lives on because she was not at home at the time of the bombing, while Israeli warplanes blew the bodies of nine of her children into pieces. To its perpetrators, this deafening death seems like nothing more than the buzzing of a fly around an ear that needs to be swatted away. Israelis fear that the Najjar family's crime will exacerbate global outrage against them on social media. Political affiliation influences one's stance on the crime. Most of those on the extreme right and supporters of Netanyahu, Smotrich, and Ben-Gvir, the loudest voices, ignore it, while those who do address it consider it a victory and demand more. Opponents of the extreme right-wing government, however, believe the crime will only increase the global outrage that haunts Israel everywhere, recalling the murder of Hind Rajab, which became a global public opinion issue. While the Israeli public is greatly influenced by media positions, only a few Israeli media outlets covered the horrific crime, not with the aim of holding the perpetrators accountable. The Hebrew media is a cornerstone of Zionist propaganda that practices widespread deception, but rather by fabricating flimsy justifications that ensure the continuation of the massacre. In a report published Saturday evening, it stated that "the world continues to focus on the Gaza Strip, while the main headlines are dominated by a single operation attributed to the Israeli army, which targeted the home of pediatrician Alaa Al-Najjar, killing nine of her children." The Hebrew news site did not forget to mention the details of the "incident," as it described it. It noted that the incident occurred while Dr. al-Najjar was practicing her profession at Nasser Medical Complex, where she learned that her home had been bombed and her children killed. The website focused primarily on the crime as an event that came at a time when Israel was struggling to maintain its severely shaken global standing. It noted the coverage the crime received in major international media outlets. In its review of the news, it noted that the occupation army did not respond to inquiries from international media outlets seeking comment on the matter, and that it later announced in a brief statement that "an aircraft attacked a number of suspects found in a building near forces operating in the Khan Yunis area, which is considered a dangerous combat zone. Civilians were instructed to evacuate for their own protection. We are examining the possibility of harming uninvolved persons." The Hebrew website did not forget to translate sections of these reports, which were interviews with doctors who were al-Najjar's colleagues, "who confirmed that her husband, the doctor who was seriously injured, and her son Adam (11 years old), had no connection to armed organizations," as if, had they had, the crime would have been justified. In Yedioth Ahronoth, only one news item appeared, and its content was not significantly different from the previous ones, with a reminder that "the catastrophe that befell the children of the Al-Najjar family exceeded in its horror that which befell her colleague, Dr. Izz al-Din Abu al-Aish," referring to the Palestinian doctor whose daughters were killed by the occupation army during the 2009 aggression on the Gaza Strip. The situation wasn't much different for television channels. Channel 13 almost copied the Ynet news story, which had also been relayed from foreign media, emphasizing the exposure of Israel's "shame" to the world. Meanwhile, Haaretz, a left-wing newspaper, didn't go much further than its colleagues; in fact, its report, also from foreign media, was more concise.

"يخيل لي أني أتيت بالحرب معي. فوق جلدي. كفن يلف رأسي. قيح تحت أظافري". قد يعبر هذا المقطع من شعر الصوماليّة ورسان شاير عن حالة الطبيبة الفلسطينية آلاء النجار، فقد بلغت تداعيات الحرب عندها الحد الذي لا يمكن احتماله. جريمة صاخبة وصارخة إلى حد لا يملك أحد تحمله؛ أو ربما لا يتحملها سوى الفلسطينيين الذين تكرر تعرضهم لهذا النوع من المآسي على مدار سبعة عقود مضت منذ النكبة، إذ أحالت الصواريخ الإسرائيلية آلاف الأجساد الطرية إلى أشلاء أو جثامين متفحّمة. كان موت أطفال عائلة النجار ثقيلاً بوزن ريشة، وكثيفاً حد الفراغ في حياة طبيبة الأطفال الفلسطينية، والتي لا تزال حية لأنها لم تكن في منزلها لحظة القصف، بينما حولت الطائرات الحربية الإسرائيلية جثامين تسعة من أطفالها إلى أشلاء. في المقابل، يبدو هذا الموت الصاخب بالنسبة لمرتكبيه مجرد طنين ذبابة تحوم حول أذن وينبغي "كشّها". يخشى إسرائيليون أن تفاقم جريمة عائلة النجار الغضب العالمي ضدهم على مواقع التواصل، تؤثر الخلفية السياسية على موقف الشخص من الجريمة، فالمنتمون إلى اليمين المتطرف ومؤيدو نتنياهو وسموتريتش وبن غفير، وهم الأصوات الأعلى، يتجاهل غالبيتهم الأمر، ومن يتناوله منهم يعتبره نصراً، ويطالب بالمزيد. أما المعارضون لحكومة اليمين المتطرف، فإنهم يعتبرون أن الجريمة ستزيد الغضب العالمي الذي يطارد إسرائيل في كل مكان، مذكرين بجريمة قتل الطفلة هند رجب، والتي تحولت إلى قضية رأي عام عالمية. وبينما يتأثر الجمهور الإسرائيلي كثيراً بمواقف وسائل الإعلام، فإن قلة قليلة من وسائل الإعلام الإسرائيلية تناولت الجريمة المروعة، ليس بهدف مساءلة مرتكبيها، فالإعلام العبري هو حجر أساس في الدعاية الصهيونية التي تمارس تضليلاً واسعاً، بل تناولته في معرض اصطناع تبريراتٍ واهية تكفل استمرار المذبحة. فقدت الأسرة 9 أطفال في يوم واحد، 24 مايو 2025 (هاني الشاعر/الأناضول) ينقل موقع واينت الجريمة عن وسائل الإعلام الأجنبية، وكأن الأمر حدث في قارة أخرى، لا على بُعد جدارٍ فاصل يدخل منه مراسلوه العسكريون ويخرجون وكأنهم في رحلة سياحية؛ إذ أورد في تقرير نشره مساء أول من أمس السبت، أن "العالم يواصل تركيزه على قطاع غزة، فيما تهيمن على العناوين الرئيسية عملية واحدة منسوبة إلى الجيش الإسرائيلي، استهدف فيها منزل طبيبة الأطفال آلاء النجار؛ ما أودى بحياة تسعة من أطفالها". لم ينس الموقع الإخباري العبري الإشارة إلى حيثيات "الواقعة" كما وصفها؛ إذ لفت إلى حدوثها خلال ممارسة الطبيبة النجار عملها في مجمع ناصر الطبي، حيث عرفت بتعرض منزلها للقصف، واستشهاد أطفالها. وركّز الموقع بشكل أساسي على الجريمة، باعتبارها حدثاً يأتي في وقت تصارع فيه إسرائيل للاحتفاظ بمكانتها العالمية التي اهتزت بقوة؛ ويلفت إلى التغطية التي حظيت بها الجريمة في وسائل الإعلام العالمية الكبرى، وفي استعراضه للخبر، يعرج على حقيقة أن جيش الاحتلال لم يرد على استفسارات من وسائل الإعلام العالمية للتعليق على الأمر، وأنه فيما بعد أعلن في بيان مقتضب، أن "طائرة هاجمت عدداً من المشتبه بهم وجِدوا في مبنى بالقرب من القوات العاملة في منطقة خانيونس، والتي تُعد منطقة قتال خطيرة، وقد أوعز للمدنيين بإخلائها لحمايتهم. نفحص احتمال إيذاء أشخاص غير متورطين". لم ينسَ الموقع العبري ترجمة مقاطع من هذه التقارير كانت عبارة عن مقابلات مع أطباء من زملاء النجار، و"الذين أكدّوا أن زوجها الطبيب الذي أصيب بجروح بالغة، مع طفلها آدم (11 سنة)، ليس لهم أي صلة بالتنظيمات المسلّحة"، وكأنه لو كان لهما صلة، فإن الجريمة مبررة. قضايا وناس 9 نعوش صغيرة... الطبيبة آلاء النجار تودّع أطفالها الشهداء تجاوزت تعليقات قرّاء الموقع على الخبر الألف تعليق، وتراوحت بين مهاجمة حكومة بنيامين نتنياهو التي تسببت بتراجع مكانة إسرائيل عالمياً، وبضرر للإسرائيليين أنفسهم، فضلاً عن تكرار المطالبة بتحرير المحتجزين، فيما ناشد آخرون وقف الحرب باعتبارها "بلا هدف"، لكن معلقين آخرين عدّوا الجريمة مبررة، مكررين تصريحات لوزراء إسرائيليين لم يخجلوا من الدعوة إلى قتل الأطفال أكثر من مرّة، ومعتبرين أن "كل طفل فلسطيني هو مشروع عدو في المستقبل". في صحيفة يديعوت أحرونوت، لم يرد سوى خبر واحد، ولم يختلف محتواه كثيراً عما سبق، مع تذكير بأن "الكارثة التي حلت بأطفال عائلة النجار، فاقت في فظاعتها تلك التي حلّت بزميلها الطبيب عز الدين أبو العيش"، في إشارة إلى الطبيب الفلسطيني الذي قتل جيش الاحتلال بناته خلال عدوان 2009 على قطاع غزة. لم يختلف الأمر كثيراً بالنسبة للقنوات التلفزيونية، فالقناة 13 استنسخت تقريباً خبر موقع واينت، المنقول بدوره عن الإعلام الأجنبي، مشددة على انكشاف "العورة" الإسرائيلية أمام العالم. في حين لم تتقدم صحيفة هآرتس، المحسوبة على صف "اليسار"، عن خط زميلاتها، بل إن الخبر الذي أوردته، نقلاً أيضاً عن الإعلام الأجنبي، كان مختصراً أكثر.
