The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced that ten people were killed and more than 30 wounded on Monday by Israeli fire as they attempted to reach two aid distribution centers. The Israeli military said it fired "warning shots" at suspected militants. Eyewitnesses said the Israeli army not only opened fire on them, but also, for the first time, they were attacked by Palestinian gunmen apparently allied with the Israeli military.

أعلن الدفاع المدني في قطاع غزة مقتل عشرة أشخاص وإصابة أكثر من 30 يوم الاثنين بنيران إسرائيلية، وذلك خلال محاولتهم الوصول إلى مركزين لتوزيع المساعدات، في حين أشار الجيش الإسرائيلي إلى إطلاق "أعيرة تحذيرية" باتجاه مشتبه بهم.

وقال شهود عيان إن الجيش الإسرائيلي لم يطلق النار عليهم فحسب، بل تعرضوا للمرة الأولى أيضاً لهجوم من قبل مسلحين فلسطينيين متحالفين على ما يبدو مع الجيش الإسرائيلي.
