My dear cousin, Abu Ahmad, son of my aunt, Mahmoud Ahmad Za'arab, has been martyred.
May God have mercy on him and grant patience to my aunt and uncle, Abu Mahmoud.
May God grant patience to your heart, Lina (Umm Ahmad), in your grief.

May God accept you and ease your suffering, my dear.
To God we belong and to Him we shall return.
Sufficient for us is God, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
