كان محمد صوتًا للناس، لا سلاح له إلا الكاميرا، ولا ميدان له إلا الحقيقة.
شابٌ فلسطيني من بلدة عبسان الكبيرة شرق خان يونس، حمل أوجاع أهله وعدسته، وراح يوثّق الجريمة… حتى طالته يد الغدر.
محمد لم يكن مقاتلًا، ولم يكن ينتمي لأي جناح عسكري، بل كان صحفيًا حرًّا مدنيًا، يبحث عن الحياة في تفاصيل الموت، وعن الأمل في غبار القصف.
في وقتٍ سابق، خرج للعلاج من مرضٍ ألمّ به إلى الأردن، بحثًا عن الشفاء، فكان الاحتلال له بالمرصاد، حيث اعتقلوه خلال عودته، ولم يشفع له مرضه ولا صفة عمله.
محمد كان يستنجد بالأمة… يستنجد بالعرب… ليس من أجل نفسه، بل من أجل غزة، من أجل أطفال يُقتَلون بلا ذنب، من أجل شعب يُحاصَر ويُقصَف ويُنسى.
وفي 20 مايو 2025، قصفت طائرة مُسيّرة إسرائيلية موقعه بينما كان يقوم بتغطية صحفية في بلدة عبسان. لم يكن يحمل سلاحًا، بل كاميرا… وكان آخر ما رآه عدسته، وآخر ما سمعه العالم صمته الأبدي.
