What happened to us today is the Israeli occupation's insistence on continuing to deliberately kill us. This proves that we are a growing and ongoing target for the occupation army, in an attempt to obliterate the Palestinian narrative and conceal the injustice suffered by our Palestinian people through this ongoing massacre of fellow journalists.
We were deliberately targeted while I was with a group of colleagues from the Morag area, north of Rafah, with a missile fired from an Israeli drone. We were all injured by shrapnel. Minutes later, another missile hit the colleagues, and our colleagues Hamza al-Dahdouh and Mustafa Thuraya were instantly martyred.
I am currently receiving treatment at the European Gaza Hospital, and I promise you that I will persevere and continue my media mission. I will not abandon this weapon, which the occupation fears.
I will continue covering the situation, with God's help, regardless of the obstacles, even from my hospital bed. The era of intimidation and fear practiced against us by the occupation is over.

ما حدث اليوم معنا هو إصرار من الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على مواصلة قتلنا بشكل متعمد وهذا يثبت بأننا هدفا متصاعدا ومستمرا لجيش الاحتلال في محاولة منه لطمس الرواية الفلسطينية وحجب مظلومية شعبنا الفلسطيني من خلال هذه المذبحة المتواصلة بحق الزملاء الصحفيين ..
استهدفنا بشكل متعمد بينما كنت برفقة مجموعة من الزملاء من منطقة موراج شمالي رفح بصاروخ من طائرة إسرائيلية مسيرة وأصبنا جميعا بشظايا الصاروخ وبعده بدقائق معدودة ألحقت الطائرة بالزملاء صاروخ آخر واستشهد على الفور الزميلين حمزة الدحدوح ومصطفى ثريا .
وأنا الآن أتلقى العلاج في مستشفى غزة الأوربي وأعدكم بأنني ماض ومستمر و سأواصل الرسالة الإعلامية ولن أترك هذا السلاح الذي يخشاه الاحتلال ..
سأواصل التغطية بعون الله مهما كانت العراقيل حتى ولو من على سرير المستشفى وانتهى زمن الترهيب والتخويف الذي يمارس علينا من قبل الاحتلال .
