Mohammed Hijazi, 7 years old from Jabalia, northern Gaza, survived airstrikes more than once and fled with his family to the south to escape death. During the ceasefire, Mohammed tried to return to his childhood and play. But while playing, he found a strange object. He didn't know that the small object was a remnant of the war until it exploded and caused him severe injuries. He lost all of his sight. One eye was removed, and the other can no longer see. Today, Mohammed can't see anything... not light, not colors, not even his face.
