We will continue and move forward on the path of our martyred comrade Bassam until security and peace prevail for our people through a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the liberation of all our valiant prisoners, which was the most important issue for him. He was a dedicated and loyal defender of the prisoners' cause everywhere. Glory and immortality to our righteous martyrs. I kissed your grave, watered by tears. It was as if my heart was calling out to you, greeting it. Here you once lit up the nights. How did the light end? Who could console him? A martyr, but you are alive within us.

I pledged to the earth that we would not betray you.

ولكم حبايب قلبي.( محمد وفائق وطارق) كل الحب والسلام
والعهد هو العهد والقسم هو القسم
إن نستمر ونمضىي على طريق الرفيق الشهيد بسام حتى يعم الأمن والسلام لشعبنا من خلال دولة فلسطينية عاصمتها القدس الشريف وتحرير كل أسرانا البواسل..التى كانت أهم قضية بالنسبة له .فكان مدافعا ومخلصا لقضية الأسرى في كل مكان .
المجد والخلود لشهدائنا الابرار وقبلت قبرك والدمع يسقيه
كأن فؤادي يناديك يحييه
هنا كنت يوما تضيء الليالي
فكيف انتهى النور؟ من ذا الذي يواسيه؟
شهيد ولكنك الحي فينا
بروح الفداء وذكرى تزكيه
عهدت التراب بأن لا نخون
وأن نبقى نرعى دماك ونحميه
فنم مطمئنا سنمضي بثأر
وفي درب مجدك نعلي مبانيه
