We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. O Allah, reward us for our affliction and replace it with something better. With hearts filled with pain and faith in Allah’s will and destiny, we mourn the martyrdom of my dear niece, Dr. Aya Madhat Al-Madhoun, her husband, and her fetus. They departed to their Lord as martyrs, God willing, leaving in our hearts indescribable pain. We ask Allah to accept them in the highest heavens and to make their abode Paradise, and to comfort your heart, my brother. O Allah, make this affliction of ours a balance of our patience. May Allah give you patience, my beloved brother.
