Reuters quoted a source described as "close to Hezbollah" as saying that the party's Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, is "alive."

A senior Iranian security official told Reuters that Tehran is checking on Nasrallah's status after the American news website Axios quoted an Israeli source as saying he was the target of an Israeli attack on Beirut.
