A person was killed in a US airstrike in the city of Al-Dana, north of Idlib. Who is he?
A drone, believed to belong to the US-led international coalition, targeted a car in the city of Al-Dana in the northern Idlib countryside on Friday evening, killing a person inside.
Special sources told Syria TV that the person killed in the airstrike was Wassim Berqdar, known as Abu Imran al-Shami, a Damascene merchant residing in Idlib.
The sources indicated that the target of the US airstrike was the brother of the director of the Damascus Endowments, Samer Berqdar.
Central Command said in a statement that it carried out a precision airstrike in northern Syria, targeting a senior official in the financial and logistical affairs of the Guardians of Religion organization, the branch affiliated with Al-Qaeda.
