For the fifth consecutive day, and under the supervision of the Acting Director General of Civil Defense, Brigadier General Nabil Farah, Civil Defense personnel, in cooperation and coordination with the Lebanese Army, carried out debris removal operations in the town of Khiam. They were able to recover the body of a Syrian national martyr from under the rubble of the Nasouh Dairy and Cheese Factory. In the Al-Jalahiya neighborhood of Khiam, no missing persons have been found so far.
In a related context, based on recent information received by the General Directorate of Civil Defense regarding seven people still missing in the Haret Hreik area, specifically the Ayoub building near Al-Amiliya, following the Israeli aggression on the area on September 27th, specialized search and rescue teams from the General Directorate of Civil Defense conducted a comprehensive field survey of the site. This resulted in the discovery of the bodies of three martyrs, which were transferred to Beirut Governmental Hospital for DNA testing to confirm their identities. لليوم الخامس على التوالي، وبمتابعة من المدير العام للدفاع المدني بالتكليف، العميد نبيل فرح، نفذ عناصر الدفاع المدني، بالتعاون والتنسيق مع الجيش اللبناني، عمليات رفع الأنقاض في بلدة الخيام حيث تمكنوا من انتشال جثمان شهيدة من التابعية السورية تحت ركام معمل نصوح للالبان والاجبان. أما في حي الجلاحية ببلدة الخيام، فلم يتم العثور على أي مفقودين حتى الآن.
وفي سياق متصل، استنادا الى معلومات حديثة توفرت لدى المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني حول ٧ أشخاص لا زالوا ضمن عداد المفقودين في منطقة حارة حريك بناية أيوب قرب العاملية جراء العدوان الإسرائيلي على المنطقة في ٢٧ أيلول الماضي، عملت فرق البحث والإنقاذ المتخصصة لدى المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني على إجراء مسح ميداني شامل للموقع أسفر عن العثور على جثامين ٣ شهداء تم نقلهم الى مستشفى بيروت الحكومي لإجراء فحوصات DNA للتحقق من هويتهم.
وستستكمل عمليات البحث ورفع الأنقاض في الخيام وحارة حريك غدا الى ان يتم العثور على جميع المفقودين.
