Do not think that those who were killed in the cause of God are dead; rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.

I don't know how to express my gratitude to you, my martyred friend, Tariq Al-Maydana, for your wonderful character.

I knew you from a very young age, and you left us, my friend, my son, in the prime of your youth, too soon. You always spoke to me of a bright future you dreamed of, and you always relied on me for every step you took.

You worked with me on a wonderful photography team, and you were the best of them all. You accompanied me on all my activities, taking the most beautiful pictures of me, always beaming with joy.

You never called me by my name, but by the most beautiful word, "Baba" (Dad), because you embodied the spirit of a dutiful son, and I gave you the pure spirit of fatherhood. I was always proud of you because you loved to seek my advice and held fast to it. Your last piece of advice to me was when you wanted to open a gallery. I praised and encouraged you, and your success was first and foremost from God, and then from your own determination and perseverance. But God's will did not grant you the time to reap the fruits of your success. You were full of life and energy, eager for success, and God blessed you with the highest honor, the highest form of success.

I pray that God will envelop you in His mercy and accept you in Paradise with the martyrs, prophets, and righteous—what excellent companions they are! May we meet again in Paradise, God willing.

لا أعلم بأي كلمات استطيع فيها ان اوفيك حقك ياصديقي الشهيد/(طارق الميدنه) لكي اعبر عن اخلاقك الرائعة.
عرفتك منذ نعومه ظوافرك ورحلت يا صديقي بل يا بني. وانت في ريعان شبابك مستعجلا .كان حديثك دائما معي عن مستقبل زاهر تحلم به كنت دائما تستعين بي بكل خطوة تخطوها .
عملت معي ضمن فريق مصورين رائعين وكنت أروعهم وكنت ترافقني بكل الانشطه لتلتقط لى اجمل الصور وانت مبتهج .
لم تناديني يومآ بإسمي
بل بأروع كلمة يا بابا
لأنك كنت تجسد روح الابن البار وانا منحتك روح الابوه الصافيه . كنت أفخر بك دائما لكونك كنت تحب الاستعانه بنصائحي التي كنت تتمسك بها.
كانت آخر مشورة منك لي عند رغبتك البدئ في فتح معرض حيث أثنيت عليه وشجعتك وكان التوفيق من الله اولا ثم بعزيمتك واصرارك ثانيا. لكن مشيئه الله لم تمهلك الوقت لكي تجني ثمار نجاحك..
كنت مفعم بالحياه والنشاط متوق للنجاح فانعمك الله بالشهاده التي هي اعلى مراتب النجاح.
أدعو الله ان يتغمدك في رحمته ويتقبلك في عليين مع الشهداء والنبيين والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقا
