He condemned the massacre committed by Israeli aircraft in the city of Bint Jbeil.
Speaker #Nabih_Berri: The blood of these Lebanese, who hold American citizenship, is for those gathered in Naqoura and for the global demonstration that has begun to gather at the United Nations. Is it Lebanese childhood that poses an existential threat to the Israeli entity? Or is it this entity's behavior of killing without deterrence and accountability that poses a threat to international peace and security?
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri condemned the massacre committed by Israeli drones in the city of Bint Jbeil, which claimed the lives of five martyrs, including children. Speaker Berri said: "Five martyrs—a father, three of his children, and their wounded mother—were shed in cold blood in the city of Bint Jbeil, in full view of the technical committee charged with monitoring the ceasefire, following its meeting in Naqoura, in the presence of US envoy Ortagus."
He added: "The blood of these Lebanese children, their father, and their wounded mother, who hold American citizenship, is for the sake of those gathered in Naqoura, and for the sake of the global demonstration that has begun to gather at the United Nations headquarters."
The Speaker continued: "We ask: Is it Lebanese childhood that poses an existential threat to the Israeli entity? Or is it this entity's behavior, in killing without deterrence or accountability, that constitutes a real threat to international peace and security?"
Speaker Berri concluded: "Mercy to the martyrs, and a speedy recovery to the wounded."

الرئيس #نبيه_بري : دماء هؤلاء اللبنانيين والذين يحملون الجنسية الأمريكية برسم من كان ملتئماً في الناقورة وبرسم التظاهرة العالمية التي بدأت تتوافد إلى الأمم المتحدة ، وهل الطفولة اللبنانية هي التي تمثل خطراً وجودياً على الكيان الإسرائيلي ؟ ، أم أن سلوك هذا الكيان في القتل دون رادع وحساب هو الذي يشكل تهديداً للأمن والسلم الدوليين ؟ .
دان رئيس مجلس النواب الأستاذ نبيه بري المجزرة التي ارتكبها الطيران الإسرائيلي المُسيَّر في مدينة بنت جبيل ، والتي ذهب ضحيتها خمسة شهداء، من بينهم أطفال.
وقال الرئيس بري: "خمسة شهداء أب وثلاثة من أطفاله، ووالدتهم الجريحة سُفكت دماؤهم بدمٍ بارد في مدينة بنت جبيل، على مرأى ومسمع من اللجنة التقنية المولجة مراقبة وقف إطلاق النار، وذلك عقب إجتماعها في الناقورة، بحضور الموفدة الأميركية أورتاغوس".
وأضاف الرئيس بري: "دماء هؤلاء اللبنانيين الأطفال ووالدهم وأمهم الجريحة، الذين يحملون الجنسية الأميركية هي برسم من كان مجتمعاً في الناقورة، وبرسم التظاهرة العالمية التي بدأت تتوافد إلى مقر الأمم المتحدة".
وتابع رئيس المجلس : "نسأل: هل الطفولة اللبنانية هي التي تُمثّل خطراً وجودياً على الكيان الإسرائيلي؟ أم أن سلوك هذا الكيان، في القتل دون رادع أو حساب، هو الذي يُشكّل تهديداً حقيقياً للأمن والسلم الدوليين؟".
وختم الرئيس بري : "الرحمة للشهداء، والشفاء العاجل للجرحى".
