With the guidance and follow-up of the Commander-in-Chief, and through high-quality intelligence work by the Intelligence Service, and with the planning and follow-up of the Joint Operations Command, 14 terrorists were killed, including leaders of the ISIS terrorist group.

Here are the men of Iraq, men of difficult missions, men of heroism and glory, delivering a painful blow to what remains of the ISIS terrorist gangs and their cowardly leadership.
After relying on God and with the guidance of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and based on accurate information and field work that continued for two consecutive months to monitor the presence of important leaders of the ISIS terrorist gangs in the Anbar desert, specifically in the Al-Hazimi area, east of Wadi Al-Ghadf, in four hideouts. Dispersed, well-concealed, and hidden with high-level camouflage operations, as precise and high-level intelligence work continued by the heroes of the Iraqi Intelligence Service, ground and air technical surveillance, and the utilization of sources, with planning and follow-up by the Joint Operations Command, and coordination with the Intelligence Service from the moment the directives of the Commander-in-Chief were received, the locations of these hideouts and the precise detailed information about these terrorist elements present in the place were reached, and at 4:00 AM yesterday, Thursday, August 29, 2024, with God’s blessing and the zeal of the zealous, and due to the difficult geographical area and to ensure the surprise of the enemy and its leaders entrenched in the place, successive and surprise air strikes were carried out on all the hideouts, followed by an airdrop operation of mobile units, with intelligence and technical cooperation and coordination from the International Coalition at dawn yesterday, Thursday, and after engaging with those fleeing from the air strikes in several hideouts, the number of dead of the disappointed and defeated ISIS elements in the deserts and caves became (14) terrorists, some of whom were wearing explosive belts and carrying hand grenades. Accurate intelligence indicates that among the dead were important first-tier leaders of the ISIS terrorist gangs. All their hideouts, along with the weapons, ammunition, and logistical support they contained, were destroyed. A number of suicide belts were detonated under controlled conditions, and important documents, records, and communication devices were seized.

Further details, including the names and photos of the terrorists, will be released later after the DNA testing process is completed.

God has granted victory to the brave men who have the love of Iraq on their foreheads... Thanks be to God, the Helper of the Believers.

ها هم رجال العراق رجال المهمات الصعبة، أصحاب البطولات والأمجاد يوجهون ضربة موجعة لما تبقى من عناصر عصابات داعش الإرهابية وقيادته الجبانة،
فبعد التوكل على الله وبتوجيه من السيد القائد العام للقوات المسلحة، ووفقا لمعلومات دقيقة وعمل ميداني استمر لشهرين متواصلين لمراقبة تواجد قيادات مهمة لعصابات داعش الإرهابية في صحراء الأنبار بالتحديد في منطقة الحزيمي شرق وادي الغدف في أربع مضافات متباعدة، ومحكمة، ومخفية بعمليات تمويه عالية، إذ كان العمل الاستخباري الدقيق والعالي المستوى مستمر من قبل أبطال جهاز المخابرات العراقي، والمراقبة الفنية الأرضية، والجوية، وتسخير المصادر، وبتخطيط ومتابعة قيادة العمليات المشتركة، والتنسيق مع جهاز المخابرات منذ لحظة استلام توجيهات السيد القائد العام، تم التوصل الى أماكن هذه المضافات والمعلومات التفصيلية الدقيقة عن هذه العناصر الإرهابية المتواجدة في المكان، وبالساعة 400 من فجر يوم أمس الخميس الموافق 29 آب 2024 وعلى بركة الله وبهمة الغيارى ولصعوبة المنطقة جغرافيا ولضمان مباغتة العدو وقياداته المتخندقة بالمكان، تم القيام بضربات جوية متعاقبة ومباغتة لجميع المضافات، اعقبها عملية إنزال جوي لقطعات محموله، وبتعاون وتنسيق استخباري وفني من التحالف الدولي فجر أمس الخميس، وبعد الاشتباك مع الفارين من الضربات الجوية بعدة مضافات أصبح عدد قتلى عناصر داعش الخائبة المهزومة بالصحاري والكهوف (14) إرهابيا بعضهم يرتدي أحزمة ناسفة، ويحمل رمانات يدوية.
وتشير المعلومات الاستخبارية الدقيقة أن من بين القتلى قيادات مهمة من الصف الأول لعصابات داعش الإرهابية، كما تم تدمير جميع المضافات وما فيها من أسلحة واعتدة ودعم لوجستي، وتفجير عدد من الأحزمة الناسفة تحت السيطرة، فضلا عن السيطرة على بعض الوثائق والمستمسكات المهمة وأجهزة الاتصال .
وسيتم لاحقا الإعلان عن تفاصيل أكثر وأسماء وصور الإرهابيين بعد إكمال عملية فحص DNA.
