With hearts that believe in God's will and destiny, the Faculty of Medicine, Palestine - Al-Azhar University in Gaza, its deanship, members of its academic and administrative staff, and its students mourn the martyr of humanitarian and medical duty, Dr. Aya Medhat Al-Madhoun, a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine - Class of [Palestinian Science 2022], who ascended to heaven with her husband and unborn child as a result of a treacherous bombing while performing her humanitarian duty of caring for the wounded and providing medical, food, and health assistance to the displaced. The martyred Dr. Aya was among the first to take the initiative to support the wounded and the displaced, and an active contributor to distributing clothes, basic necessities, and medicine to our people in displacement tents, with unparalleled dedication and a deep belief in the humanitarian message of the doctor. We ask God Almighty to accept her, her husband, and her unborn child among the martyrs, and to place them in the highest paradise with the prophets and the righteous, and to inspire her family, relatives, and loved ones with patience and solace. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.

بقلوب مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره، تنعى كلية طب فلسطين – جامعة الأزهر بغزة، وعمادتها، وأعضاء هيئتها الأكاديمية والإدارية، وطلبتها، شهيدة الواجب الإنساني والطبي الدكتورة آية مدحت المدهون، خريجة كلية الطب – دفعة [العلم الفلسطيني ٢٠٢٢]، والتي ارتقت إلى العلا مع زوجها وجنينها إثر قصف غادر أثناء قيامها بواجبها الإنساني في رعاية الجرحى وتقديم المساعدة الطبية والغذائية والصحية للنازحين. لقد كانت الشهيدة الدكتورة آية من أوائل المبادرين في نصرة الجرحى والنازحين، ومن المساهمين الفاعلين في توزيع الملابس والاحتياجات الأساسية والدواء على أهلنا في خيام النزوح، بتفانٍ قلّ نظيره، وإيمانٍ عميق برسالة الطبيب الإنسانية. نسأل الله العلي القدير أن يتقبلها وزوجها وجنينها في عداد الشهداء، وأن يجعلهم في الفردوس الأعلى مع النبيين والصديقين، وأن يلهم أهلها وذويها ومحبيها الصبر والسلوان. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
