To God we belong and to Him we shall return.

With hearts filled with sorrow, yet souls resigned to God's decree, we bid farewell to our beloved cousins:
Mu'tasim Rabah Abed

and Mu'adh Rabah Abed
who have ascended to martyrdom, God willing.

O God, have mercy on them, forgive them, and grant them steadfastness in the questioning.

Grant them Paradise with the prophets, the righteous, the martyrs, and the virtuous.

O God, strengthen our hearts and the hearts of their families, and grant us patience and tranquility.

We have nothing left but prayer... and the path of truth is not extinguished by departure.

إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
بقلوب يملؤها الحزن، ونفوس راضية بقضاء الله،
نودّع أحبابنا وأبناء عمّنا:
معتصم رباح عابد
ومعاذ رباح عابد
الذين ارتقوا شهداء بإذن الله.
اللهم ارحمهم، واغفر لهم، وثبّتهم عند السؤال،
واجعل مثواهم الجنة مع النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين.
اللهم اربط على قلوبنا وقلوب أهلهم، وامنحنا الصبر والسكينة.
لا نملك إلا الدعاء... ودرب الحق لا يُطفئه الرحيل.
