The eyes shed tears and the heart is grieved, but we say only what pleases our Lord, and indeed, over your departure, we are saddened.
O Allah, accept his martyrdom, forgive him, have mercy on him, and make him steadfast when questioned. Wash him with water, snow, and hail. We belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return. Today we have lost a martyr who was dear to our hearts. I ask Allah the Almighty to accept him among the martyrs and admit him into His spacious gardens.
