Palestinian media confirmed on Monday that journalist Imad Ghaboun and a number of residents were injured after being targeted by the Israeli occupation forces in the Tal al-Zaatar area in northern Gaza.
Israeli warplanes intensified their heavy bombardment of the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip over the past few hours, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinian civilians in displacement camps, according to Palestinian medical sources.
The Government Media Office in Gaza confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces targeted 30,000 displaced Palestinians in five shelters in Khan Yunis, claiming they were safe, and committed a massacre that left numerous Palestinian martyrs. This comes as part of the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation against civilians, children, and women in Gaza. Government media in Gaza reported that the occupation army targeted a number of displacement centers with direct shelling, quadcopters, reconnaissance aircraft, and artillery. The targeted shelters included the Al-Aqsa University shelter, the University College shelter, the Khalidiya School shelter, the Al-Mawasi School shelter, and the Khan Yunis Industrial Shelter. The media held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for these ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people, especially among the displaced in the shelters and displacement centers.
During its violent airstrikes, the Israeli occupation targeted the minaret of Al-Aqqad Mosque in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, west of Asdaa city.

أكد المكتب الإعلامي الحكومي في غزة أن جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي استهدف 30 ألف نازح فلسطيني في خمسة مراكز إيواء بخان يونس ادعى أنها آمنة، ويرتكب مجزرة خلفت العديد من الشهداء الفلسطينيين، موضحا أن جيش الاحتلال قد ادعى أنها مراكز آمنة ودعا سكان غزة للجوء إليها ثم ارتكب فيها مجزرة خلفت العديد من الشهداء، يأتي هذا ضمن حرب الإبادة الجماعية التي يشنها الاحتلال الاسرائيلي ضد المدنيين والأطفال والنساء في غزة.
وأشار الاعلام الحكومي في غزة إلى أن جيش الاحتلال استهدف عددا من مراكز النزوح بالقصف المباشر وطائرات الكواد كابتر وطائرات الاستطلاع والمدفعية، موضحا أن مراكز الإيواء المستهدفة هي مركز إيواء جامعة الأقصى، مركز إيواء الكلية الجامعية، مركز إيواء مدرسة خالدية، مركز إيواء مدرسة المواصى، مركز إيواء صناعة خانيونس.
وحمّل الاحتلال الإسرائيلي كامل المسئولية عن هذه الجرائم المتواصلة بحق الشعب الفلسطيني وخاصة بين صفوف النازحين في مراكز الإيواء والنزوح.
