Our colleague, journalist Islam Megdad, has not seen her husband and daughter Zeina for two years due to a medical trip after Zeina sustained a serious skull injury early in the war.
Islam was scared, brokenhearted, and shouldered the responsibility of two children with her (Sarah and Adam). Sarah was injured in the same bombing that targeted their neighbors along with her sister Zeina.
Islam was displaced more than once, and went hungry, thirsty, and sick, like thousands of other Gazans.
Tonight, Islam was a target of the occupation's missiles, and she and Adam were martyred. She left behind Sarah in Gaza, and Zeina and her husband Ahmed outside Gaza.

اسلام كانت الليلة هدف لصواريخ الاحتلال واستشهدت هيا وآدم وتركت وراها سارة في غزة وزينة وزوجها أحمد برا غزة
