The Al-Shaer family condemns the bombing of Nasser Hospital and mourns the martyred son, Imad Abdel-Hakim Al-Shaer

In a new crime against humanity, the Israeli occupation forces today committed a double bombing targeting Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, resulting in a number of martyrs and wounded, including medical, journalistic, and humanitarian personnel.
The crime was not limited to patients and medical personnel; it also extended to Civil Defense personnel who rushed to save lives from the rubble. Our heroic martyr son, Imad Abdel-Hakim Al-Shaer, was martyred while performing his humanitarian duty in Civil Defense, joining the ranks of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their people.
We, the Al-Shaer family, both at home and abroad, as we mourn our beloved son, Imad, affirm that targeting Civil Defense personnel, journalists, and hospitals is a full-fledged war crime, aimed at silencing the voice of truth and depriving civilians of their most basic rights to treatment, healthcare, and rescue. Imad Al-Shaer ascended while fulfilling his noble mission, believing that defending the lives of others is a national and humanitarian duty. His pure blood will remain a testament to the brutality of the occupation and to the great sacrifices of the Civil Defense personnel.

في جريمة جديدة ترتكب بحق الإنسانية، ارتكبت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي اليوم قصفاً مزدوجاً استهدف مستشفى ناصر بمدينة خان يونس، ما أسفر عن سقوط عدد من الشهداء والجرحى، بينهم طواقم طبية وصحفية وإنسانية.
ولم تقتصر الجريمة على المرضى والكوادر الطبية، بل طالت رجال الدفاع المدني الذين هبّوا لإنقاذ الأرواح من بين الركام، حيث ارتقى ابننا الشهيد البطل عماد عبد الحكيم الشاعر أثناء أدائه واجبه الإنساني في الدفاع المدني، ليُلتحق بركب الشهداء الذين قدّموا حياتهم فداءً لشعبهم.
إننا في عائلة الشاعر في الوطن والشتات، إذ ننعى ابننا الغالي عماد، نؤكد أن استهداف طواقم الدفاع المدني والصحفيين والمستشفيات هو جريمة حرب مكتملة الأركان، تهدف إلى إسكات صوت الحقيقة وحرمان المدنيين من أبسط حقوقهم في العلاج والرعاية الصحية والإنقاذ.
لقد ارتقى عماد الشاعر وهو يؤدي رسالته النبيلة، مؤمناً أن الدفاع عن حياة الآخرين واجب وطني وإنساني، وسيبقى دمه الطاهر شاهدًا على وحشية الاحتلال وعلى عظمة تضحيات رجال الدفاع المدني.
