I met him in Deir al-Balah.. He was a pure young man. I consider him, and God will consider him, to be one of the sincere ones. The news of his martyrdom, God willing, came. The beloved martyr / Iyad Awad, may God accept him and forgive us and him. To God belongs the matter, before and after. There is no power or strength except with God. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

تعرفت عليه في دير البلح .. من الشباب النقية
احسبه والله حسيبه انه من المخلصين
جاء خبره شهيدا بإذن الله
الشهيد الحبيب / اياد عواد تقبله الله وغفر لنا وله
لله الأمر من قبل ومن بعد
ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله
حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل
