Wael al-Dahdouh's son killed in Israeli airstrike on Gaza
Several members of Wael al-Dahdouh's family were previously killed, including his wife, son, daughter, and grandson.
Journalist Hamza, son of journalist Wael al-Dahdouh, was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting journalists west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Journalist Mustafa Thuraya was also killed by an Israeli drone missile that targeted the car they were traveling in near the Mawasi area, southwest of the Gaza Strip, according to an Al Jazeera correspondent.
The correspondent explained that the Israeli airstrike targeted Hamza, along with a group of journalists, while he was working with the Al Jazeera crew in that area, where civilians had fled as a result of the Israeli airstrikes on several areas in the Gaza Strip.
Several members of Wael al-Dahdouh's family, including his wife, son, daughter, and grandson, were previously killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house they had fled to in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the Israeli occupation's targeting of journalists Hamza al-Dahdouh and Mustafa Thuraya is "a deliberate war crime aimed at terrorizing and deterring journalists from conveying the truth." In a statement, the movement called on international human rights organizations to document these crimes to prosecute the Israeli occupation.
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip also announced today that the martyrdom of journalists Hamza Wael al-Dahdouh and Mustafa Thuraya brings the number of journalists killed in Gaza to 109 since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Strip.

استشهاد نجل وائل الدحدوح بقصف إسرائيلي على غزة
سبق أن استشهد عدد من أفراد عائلة الزميل وائل الدحدوح -بمن فيهم زوجته وابنه وابنته وحفيده
استشهد الصحفي حمزة نجل الصحفي وائل الدحدوح في قصف إسرائيلي استهدف صحفيين غرب خان يونس جنوبي قطاع غزة.
كما استشهد إلى جانبه الصحفي مصطفى ثريا جراء صاروخ من طائرة إسرائيلية مسيّرة استهدف السيارة التي كانا يستقلانها قرب منطقة المواصي جنوبي غربي قطاع غزة، وفق مراسل الجزيرة.
وأوضح المراسل أن القصف الإسرائيلي استهدف حمزة مع مجموعة من الصحفيين خلال عمله ضمن طاقم الجزيرة في تلك المنطقة، التي نزح إليها مدنيون جراء القصف الإسرائيلي على مناطق عدة بالقطاع.
وسبق أن استشهد عدد من أفراد عائلة وائل الدحدوح -بمن فيهم زوجته وابنه وابنته وحفيده- في قصف إسرائيلي استهدف منزلا نزحوا إليه بمخيم النصيرات وسط القطاع.
من جهتها، قالت حركة المقاومة الإسلامية (حماس) إن استهداف الاحتلال الإسرائيلي للصحفيين حمزة الدحدوح ومصطفى ثريا “جريمة حرب متعمدة تستهدف إرهاب وثني الصحفيين عن نقل الحقيقة”، وطالبت الحركة -في بيان- المؤسسات الحقوقية الدولية بتوثيق هذه الجرائم لمحاكمة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.
كما أعلن المكتب الإعلامي الحكومي في قطاع غزة اليوم أن استشهاد الصحفيين حمزة وائل الدحدوح ومصطفى ثريا يرفع عدد الشهداء الصحفيين بغزة إلى 109 منذ بدء العدوان الإسرائيلي على القطاع.
