The Israeli army announced on Friday its regret for the injury of Lebanese army soldiers during an attack targeting an engineering vehicle in the Naqoura area in southern #Lebanon, and opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee said in a statement that the army attacked an engineering vehicle yesterday that was being used to rebuild military infrastructure. He added that a technical malfunction caused some Israeli ammunition to fail to explode and fall to the ground, which later led to injuries to Lebanese army personnel.
