She buried her blind husband Hajj Saleh Ibrahim Hamdan Qishta after he was martyred by shrapnel from a reconnaissance missile in Khirbet al-Adas, north of Rafah city. The occupation soldiers pointed their weapons at her and asked her to remove her veil. After besieging her for more than two months, Hajja Aziza Suleiman Hamdan Qishta, 72 years old, was able to leave her home in Khirbet al-Adas, north of Rafah city. She surrendered herself to the soldiers, where she was arrested and interrogated, then released. She came on foot until she reached the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis.

دفنت زوجها الكفيف الحاج صالح ابراهيم حمدان قشطة بعد أن استشهاد بشظية صاروخ استطلاع في خربة العدس شمال مدينة #رفح ؛ ووجه جنود الاحتلال السلاح نحوها وطلبوا منها نزع حجابها ..بعد محاصرتها لمدة تزيد عن شهرين ، تمكنت الحاجة/ عزيزة سليمان حمدان قشطة 72 عاما من الخروج من منزلها بخربة العدس شمال مدينة #رفح.. وسلمت نفسها للجنود حيث تم اعتقالها والتحقيق معها ثم أطلقوا سراحها وجائت سيراً على الاقدام حتى وصلت مواصي خانيونس.
