Journalist Islam Miqdad martyred in Israeli shelling of Khan Yunis.
Journalist Islam Nasr al-Din Miqdad was martyred tonight as a result of an Israeli shelling that targeted a house west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces targeted a house and a tent west of Khan Yunis, killing nine civilians, including journalist Miqdad.
The sources stated that journalist Miqdad was killed in a shelling that targeted the Abdul Hadi family's home in the city's al-Amal neighborhood. Other martyrs were identified as Mohsen Abu Subaih and Samira Abdul Hadi.
With the martyrdom of journalist Miqdad, the number of journalists killed since the beginning of the war of extermination has risen to 220.
The occupation deliberately targets Palestinian journalists in the Gaza Strip in a systematic manner, in an attempt to silence them and prevent them from conveying the truth to the world. #Gaza_is_being_exterminated

استشهدت الصحفية إسلام نصر الدين مقداد، الليلة، جراء قصف "إسرائيلي" استهدف منزلًا غرب مدينة خانيونس جنوب قطاع غـ.ـزة.
وأفادت مصادر محلية، بأن قوات الاحـ.ـتلال استهدفت منزلًا وخيمة غربي خانيونس، ما أدى لاستشهـ.ـاد 9 مواطنين، بينهم الصحفية مقداد.
وذكرت المصادر، أن الصحفية مقداد، ارتقت في قصف استهدف منزل عائلة عبد الهادي بحي الأمل بالمدينة، فيما عرف من بين الشهـ.ـداء أيضًا: محسن أبو صبيح، وسميرة عبد الهادي.
وباستشهـ.ـاد الصحفية “مقداد”، يرتفع عدد الصحفيين الشهـ.ـداء منذ بدء حرب الإبادة إلى 220 صحفي وصحفية.
ويتعمد الاحـ.ـتلال استهداف الصحفيين الفلسطينيين في قطاع غـ.ـزة بشكل ممنهج، في محاولة لإسكاتهم ومنعهم من نقل الحقيقة للعالم.
