The Civil Defense Operations Room of the Lebanese Islamic Health Authority announced on Friday the martyrdom of 11 paramedics in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon.
The Authority said in a statement, "With great pride and honor, we mourn a group of our paramedics who were martyred in the direct Zionist aggression against the ambulance crews in the town of Marjeyoun (Marjeyoun Governmental Hospital) on Friday." The Commission added that the martyrs are: "Martyr paramedic Muhammad Jaafar Harish, Martyr paramedic Jaafar Dhawi, Martyr paramedic Hussein Sweid, Martyr paramedic Muhammad Hassan, Martyr paramedic Abbas Tarraf, Martyr paramedic Ali Gharib, and Martyr paramedic Ali Mundhir.
It explained that "the enemy targeted the Shaqra Ambulance Center, and martyr paramedic Mu'in Tamim and martyr paramedic Mustafa Ali Dheeb were killed. In addition, the Khirbet Silm Center (Bir al-Salasil) was targeted, and martyr paramedic Abbas Fotouni and martyr paramedic Hamza al-Tawil were killed."

أعلنت غرفة عمليات الدفاع المدني في “الهيئة الصحية الإسلامية” اللبنانية، الجمعة، استشهـ.ـاد 11 مسعفا في غارات لجيش الاحـ.ـتلال على جنوب لبنان.
وقالت الهيئة في بيان، إنه “بمزيدٍ من الفخر والاعتزاز نزّف ثلّة من مسعفينا الذين ارتقوا بالعدوان الصـ&ــ.ـيوني المباشر على الطواقم الإسعافية في بلدة مرجعيون (مستشفى مرجعيون الحكومي) نهار الجمعة”.
وأضافت الهيئة أن الشهـ.ـداء هم: “الشهـ.ـيد المسعف محمد جعفر هريش، الشهـ.ـيد المسعف جعفر ضاوي، الشهـ.ـيد المسعف حسين سويد، الشهـ.ـيد المسعف محمد حسان، الشهـ.ـيد المسعف عباس طراف، الشهـ.ـداء المسعف علي غريب، الشهـ.ـيد المسعف علي منذر.
وأوضحت أن “العدو استهدف مركز شقرا الإسعافي وارتقى كل من الشهـ.ـيد المسعف معين تميم والشهـ.ـيد المسعف مصطفى علي ذيب، بالإضافة إلى استهداف مركز خربة سلم (بئر السلاسل) وإرتقاء الشهـ.ـيد المسعف عباس فتوني والشهـ.ـيد المسعف حمزة الطويل”.
