Mourning Statement for the Loss of the Martyr Journalist Hassan Islaih from Khan Yunis Governorate With deep sorrow and grief, the Families Council of Khan Yunis Governorate mourns the brave Palestinian journalist, son of Khan Yunis Governorate, Hassan Islaih, who ascended at dawn today, Tuesday, May 13, 2025, after being targeted by Israeli occupation aircraft inside the burns department of Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, while receiving treatment for a previous injury he sustained on April 7th after the bombing of the journalists' tent next to the hospital. The martyr Hassan Islaih was a free voice that conveyed the truth from the heart of the field, and bravely faced danger to convey the suffering of his people, even while wounded and not spared from the brutality of the occupation. Targeting him inside the hospital is a cowardly war crime that confirms once again that this enemy does not hesitate to target the free word as it targets stones and people. We offer our deepest condolences to the family of the martyr and his relatives, to his colleagues in the field, and to all our Palestinian people. May God have mercy on the martyr Hassan Islaih and grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and inspire us all with patience and steadfastness. Khan Yunis Governorate Families Council 5/13/2025

بيان نعي فقيد محافظة خان يونس الصحفي الشهـ يد حسن اصليحببالغ الحزن والأسى، ينعي مجلس عائلات محافظة خان يونس الصحفي الفلسطيني المقدام، ابن محافظة خان يونس، حسن إصليح، الذي ارتقى فجر اليوم الثلاثاء 13 مايو 2025، إثر استهدافه من قبل طائرات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي داخل قسم الحروق في مجمع ناصر الطبي بمدينة خان يونس، أثناء تلقيه العلاج من إصابة سابقة تعرض لها في السابع من أبريل الماضي بعد قصف خيمة الصحفيين بجوار المستشفى. لقد كان الشـ هيد حسن إصليح صوتًا حرًا نقل الحقيقة من قلب الميدان، وواجه الخطر بشجاعة لنقل معاناة شعبه، حتى وهو جريح لم يسلم من بطش الاحتلال. إن استهدافه داخل المستشفى يُعد جريمة حرب جبانة تؤكد مجددًا أن هذا العدو لا يتورع عن استهداف الكلمة الحرة كما يستهدف الحجر والبشر. نتقدم بأحر التعازي لعائلة الشــ هيد وذويه، ولزملائه في الميدان، ولكل أبناء شعبنا الفلسطيني. رحم الله الشـ هيد حسن إصليح وأسكنه فسيح جناته، وألهمنا جميعًا الصبر والثبات. مجلس عائلات محافظة خان يونس13/5/2025
