In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

“Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your full reward on the Day of Resurrection.”

And He, the Exalted, said:

“O tranquil soul, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him], and enter among My [righteous] servants and enter My Paradise.”

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
With profound sorrow and grief, and with hearts believing in God’s decree and destiny, we received the news of the martyrdom of my aunt, Yusra Hamdan, “Umm Ubaida.” In this painful tragedy, we offer our condolences to ourselves and her children.

And let God bear witness that she was among the most pious and virtuous of people. A truly exceptional educator who left her mark of goodness wherever she went.
I ask God Almighty to envelop her in His mercy and grant her a place in the highest Paradise alongside my father, with the martyrs, the righteous, and the prophets. And what excellent companions they are!

And give good tidings to those who patiently endure, who, when afflicted with calamity, say, “Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we will return.”

Please pray for the complete recovery of my cousin, Dr. Alaa M. Alastal.

ببالغ الأسى والحزن و بقلوب مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره تلقينا خبر استشهاد عمتي يسرى حمدان " أم عبيدة " و بهذه الفاجعة الأليمة نعزي أنفسنا و أبنائها
و ليشهد الله أنها كانت من أتقى الناس و أفضلهم خُلقاً ..نِعم المربية المتميزة التي وضعت بصمات الخير اينما كانت تحل
أسأل الله العظيم أن يتغمدها برحمته و يسكنها الفردوس الأعلى بجوار أبي مع الشهداء و الصديقين و الانبياء و حسن أولئك رفيقا .
وبشر الصابرين الذين إذا أصابتهم مصيبة قالوا إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون..
