With all the verses of patience and steadfastness, and after 45 days of pain, patience, steadfastness, and the bitterness of injury and loss, I mourn the one who owned my heart, the light of my life, and my companion for 15 years, my dear wife, Hiam Al-Salihi (Salama), a drop of dew, who ascended during the bombing of our home on 11/13/2023, and the ascension of my nephew, Jawad Nidal, two years old.
