Montaser Al-Sawaf, a photographer working for the Turkish Anadolu Agency in the #Gaza_Strip, was martyred today, Friday, in an Israeli airstrike that targeted southern Gaza City.
#Iran_Press - #Middle_East: Anadolu Agency reported that “photographer Montaser Al-Sawaf, his brother Marwan, and a number of his relatives were martyred in an Israeli airstrike in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, south of Gaza City,” explaining that “Zionist aircraft bombed a street in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, south of Gaza City, wounding Montaser Al-Sawaf and his brother Marwan, and killing a number of their relatives.”
The Turkish agency added: “Montaser continued to bleed for about half an hour, and no ambulances were able to reach him until he was transported in a civilian car to the Baptist Hospital. There, doctors were unable to treat his critical injury due to the lack of medical facilities, which led to his martyrdom.” She noted that he was buried with his relatives in the Batsh cemetery after funeral prayers were performed. For his part, Izz al-Din Abu Zaida, head of the services and ambulance department at the Baptist Hospital, told Anadolu Agency that "Sawaf was transferred to the hospital with serious injuries that led to his death. He was shrouded and taken by his relatives for burial."

#إيران_برس - #الشرق_الأوسط: وأفادت وكالة الأناضول بـ “استشهاد الصحفي المصور منتصر الصواف وشقيقه مروان وعدد من أقاربه بقصف صهيوني في حي الدرج جنوب مدينة غزة”، موضحة أن “الطائرات الصهيونية قصفت شارعًا بمنطقة حي الدرج جنوب مدينة غزة ما أدى إلى إصابة منتصر الصواف وشقيقه مروان واستشهاد عدد من أقاربهما”.
وأضافت الوكالة التركية: “ظل منتصر ينزف لنحو نصف ساعة دون أن تتمكن أي من سيارات الإسعاف من الوصول إليه حتى تم نقله بسيارة مدنية لمستشفى المعمداني وهناك لم يستطع الأطباء التعامل مع إصابته لكونها خطيرة بسبب نقص الإمكانيات الطبية ما أدى إلى استشهاده”.
وأشارت إلى أنه تم دفنه مع أقاربه في مقبرة البطش بعد أداء صلاة الجنازة عليهم.
بدوره، قال عز الدين أبو زايدة، مسؤول قسم الخدمات والإسعاف في المستشفى المعمداني للأناضول إن “صواف نقل إلى المستشفى مصابًا بجروح خطيرة أدّت إلى استشهاده وتم تكفينه وأخذه أقاربه لدفنه”.
