My dear friend Yahya Ziad Jabr
He was martyred today, moments before the truce was announced.
Two days ago, I was hosting them at our uncle Abu Amr Jabr's house.
We had a lovely night and went into the kitchen and made dinner. The next day, we had breakfast and lunch and laughed a lot.
When I went to greet him, he said, "Please, we have one more day left. Make a crepe. We want to get Nutella and bananas and have some fun."
I didn't know, my love, that you were saying goodbye to me. I didn't know it would be the last time I would see you, my friend.
May God have mercy on you, my love. Say hello to all those who preceded you to heaven.

سهرنا ليلة حلوة ودخلنا على المطبخ وعملنا عشاء وثاني يوم أفطرنا وتغدينا وضحكنا ضحكنا كثييييير
لما جيت أروِّح بسلم عليه قلي أمانة بات عنا كمان يوم واعملي (كريب) بدنا نجيب نوتيلا وموز وننبسط.....
